Heavy Metal

So I wanted to buy a little more silver with some of my reimbursement monies, and one of these came up with a BIN of 1725. delivered last Friday on the 'bay

Since I like the design, had wanted one, and the price was right for a change (for me at least), I bit

Figured I'd share image

    Sweet bar...

It looks like it would hurt if it hit your toeimage

It's all about what the people want...

Sunshine Mint 50 ounce bar @ Apmex

And at the risk of being a metalsnob: no thanks. I understand the appeal, but there are a dozen reasons to own smaller unit bars and/or bars made by better known refiners. Don't let me poop in your punchbowl, though image

I PM'd Gecko earlier with the maker ... Wiess has it right .. a Sunshine Bar ... and no, I don't want to drop it my toe!! LOL

No problem Weiss ... to each their own. I happen to like Sunshine, and NWT/PanAm, and the newer APMEX bars, and I like the lowwer premium prices I usually get on those as well. I do like Englehard and JM, and some others. I mostly stick to struck 5's and 1's, and ASE's, and 90% too. I currently don't even own a 10 ... and this is my first 50.

  • I prefer 1oz or smaller silver, but if that bar wanted to take me out to dinner tonight and come over for drinks afterward I certainly wouldn't say no image. All silver is Sexy image!

It's neat for the cool factor but I like my silver in 90% or rounds.

It's just a big brick ... a really big brick image ... but I'll probably go back to my 1 and 5 oz sizes mixed in on the next round
