Here's Tookie, he didn't even play in the majors in '52, only two years 1950 and '53 and ended up with only 98 hits. Died of a heart attack at the age of 38 while at the wheel of his car. I wonder how rare his autograph is? Now it's you 62. Doug

I guess if you look at the backs of these cards you will find some errors. Many are "who care" errors, but fun nonetheless to look for.

Here, the spelling of his hometown is incorrect. They spell it "Poughkeepsle" instead of "Poughkeepsie".

You guys have been kicking arse today nice work. Love the signed cards Doug and good to see new blood Mdube16, great. Shane and Basherboy have been on top of it also, and everyone else who have shown their cards, nice. The power of this set is really shining through and how popular it is. I had no idea so many guys on this board loves the '52 set. Why should I be surprised right? Sorry about the fuzzy scan of the back I have a bad scanner for graded cards. 78 is great 79 is fine, let's see it. Doug

My wife got this card for me last Christmas. Look on Ebay for this card and see how hard it is to find one centered. 81 is next. Doug

If you look closely there is a dot on the "i" not an l. Still waiting on Yogi and hoping I won't use my 80's reprint for real!

Nope ... don't believe it is. Just looked at the actual card with a loupe. Looks like an "L".

In 9 seasons Duane had 391 walks compared to 305 strikeouts. That's not very good is it? He did play for the Browns for four years so maybe he was one of their best. #83 you're next. Doug

IMO - this is no common with 247 HRs, life-time BA .286 and in 15 seasons - a 7 time AS!

    BTW - can I have 87 please?

'52 Topps was funny that way, they had regular backgrounds for most but strange colored one's like Kuzava and others. Then the strange multi-colored like #80 Wehmeier and I believe Sain had the same background. Doug
