I have an 1945 20 centavos I got in change years ago. I don't believe it is a terribly expensive coin. Keep them both and decide at your leisure.

I prefer the more intense colors of the top one; however, I expected most to choose the even toning of the second.

I prefer the bottom but I would call the top one 99.99% and the bottom 100%. Really close and a tough call. You could do what Dorkgirl said and keep both.

To me, a coin needs eye appeal or I don't want to keep it, so the bottom one is better....from your pictures....to me.

Those are a couple very nice examples! This has always been a favorite coin design to me. And because you asked which one I would keep, hmmmmmmmm it would definitely be the second one.

I don't like the toning on the top one. You can't make out the design on the coin. I'd keep the bottom one. Regardless of the grades, the bottom one is a nicer coin.

As collectible goes, the coin with the most is usually the best. Color helps draw attention, but does little for exposing the reality, which is "lack of strike detail". I prefer the bottom coin for strike detail, eye appeal, and luster. The top coin has character.

I like the bottom one better even though it looks like it has more contact marks. The toning on the top one is a bit distracting to me.

What a nice group of response, thank you very much. The only reason I want to know which one to keep, is because the bottom one exibits more contact marks.
After seeing all the comments, I am now keeping both of them. Here is the grade on the top one.
