Which would you sell? 100gm gold bar or 100oz silver bar

I will be selling one to my local dealer this weekend. The gold is a CS and the silver bar is an Engelhard if that matters. Both come with about the same tax consequences. Need the money for some house repairs I can not do myself.

    While there is no shortage of 100g CS gold bars......the 100oz silver bar is far easier to replace down the road. I also find 100oz silver to be cumbersome.

    I would sell the silver (looking at it from the ease of replacement if desired).

    Be a contrarian & sell the gold...more upside potential with the silver.

    Thanks for the help. I was leaning gold prior to this poll. Whichever I sell tomorrow I will not be replacing in the future with the same size bar. I prefer smaller sized bars for the ease of future selling. But the large ones are way cooler

    Coolness factor is high on big bars (100+ oz silver and 5+ oz gold).....but unless you are forming some type of futuristic central bank.....or have very large amounts of metal in your pile, you are far better off with more divisible sizes.
