Hopefully next weeks opponent can put some points on the board so Drew can go over 400 with 6 TD's. I'm figuring two each for Sproles and Thomas since Ingram might be out. image

That's a request for mutual cancellation. An NPB strike would say something different. If the seller requests to cancel a transaction, I don't believe it results in non-payment strike against the buyer regardless of which reason is selected.

    1) Sellers can file an Unpaid Item Dispute.

Sellers can report an Unpaid Item up to 45 days after the transaction date (i.e. the date when the buyer commits to buying the item and the seller commits to selling it). Usually the seller must wait 7 days after a listing closes to file an Unpaid Item Dispute. And believe me, that is a FULL 7 days...right up to the very minute the auction had ended. However, in the following exceptional cases, the seller can file a dispute immediately:

•At the time of the filing the buyer is no longer a registered user of eBay.

•The seller and buyer wish to mutually withdraw from the transaction.

In the first case the buyer will receive an Unpaid Item strike and the seller will receive a Final Value Fee credit without any additional steps.

In the second case the seller must file the dispute for mutual withdrawal. If the buyer responds to the dispute and agrees, the seller will receive a Final Value Fee credit and no strike will be given to the buyer. If the buyer fails to respond, the seller can still close the dispute to receive a Final Value Fee credit, and the buyer will not receive an Unpaid Item strike. It is IMPERATIVE that you explain the process to your buyer so that they understand that this process not only cancels the transaction, they DO NOT get a strike against their record for non-payment while you will still get your fees back from eBay. I don't recommend this mutual withdrawl in every case though because if a buyer doesn't agree, you don't get your credit and there is no second chances on that.

sellers have been able to open or have ebay automatically open a case now after 4 days for well over a year now

<< <i>sellers have been able to open or have ebay automatically open a case now after 4 days for well over a year now >>

If that was directed at me, I posted the above to show that the buyer wouldn't have received a non-payment strike due to the seller's request to cancel the transaction. Ebay can open a NPB dispute after four days, but that was NOT what the buyer cut and pasted above.

What he said. Damn you are both stupid. Adding you both to my blocked list also. This is a request to cancel the transaction so he could do it off eBay for you. OP you are a turd, a POS based on your history on these forums, and did I mention a turd. MrMint learn to read this was not a NPB strike against you.

Just curious Joey. Why sell the card for a huge loss? Obviously Mrmint thinks it will sell for a lot more. Why not just sit on it until you get a good price?

so mrmint misinterprets the cancellation request he agreed to, still pays, gets the card within a week, and then leaves a neg?

I was never informed that he received a NPB notice because i never filed one unless my account his setup that way, nor did he ever contact me and tell me he received one. He agreed to cancel the transaction which we did, i sent him the card which he filed a claim on me saying he hadnt received the card and did not wait the 5 days usps said it would take, he receives the card and likes it and then cancels the claim against me. NOW almost a month later hes giving me negative feedback for a transaction we both agreed to cancel

thats exactly what i shouldve done but at the time was in need of money. if i wouldve known mrmint was gonna pull some shady stuff on me i wouldve just waited. FYI also mrmint was crazy enough to do a search to find out my mom and dads name and google map their house. just shows how crazy he is but people on here like to overlook that kinda stuff cuz i dont have as much credit on this forum as him
  • Just so everybody knows i have another post on here about albert pujols which he commented on this morning and after i responded to his post that he edited about my grandmother passing away he gave me negative feedback for a transaction that took place in mid september

sounds like you just pis*ed him off, are all your cards on the table here? I don't see anything that you did in the transaction which would warrant that, he neg'd you probably in part for the your reneging on your offer (not saying it's right but I would accept that it wasn't related to the ebay transaction, was something personal, and move on). What did you say to him for him to go internet stalker?
  • 1. I was going to start a thread tonight about a recent negotiation with an EBay seller where I found the seller's actions very perplexing, but who the hell am I kidding. I can't compete with this.

    2. Can't say I'm exactly scrambling to get my wallet to do business with either of these two people after reading this thread.

    3. If no one has publicly thanked DPeck100 for introducing the phrase "I have no skin in this game" to the boards, I would like to take this opportunity to do so now.

Well the transaction were originally talking about he received the ted williams and i sold him 2 other ones i think. he got good deals on them too, i lost money but i needed it so i took his offer. He didnt post any feedback until earlier today when i replied to his post to me saying that i wouldnt buy cards for high prices and sell them to him for low. after that i received negative feedback. sounds like a baby to me

  • Just spent half my day reading this thread..lol..and i gotta side with italian on this one. yes they were both wrong in some ways BUT the fact is mrmint got the card, they both seemed to mutually agree to cancel the transaction and mrmint buy the card through paypal. buyer receives card as promised then a month later posts negative feedback...sounds like mrmint is was in the wrong. id be pissed if someone did that to me after giving them such a killer deal. I dont feel at all that the seller is having remorse or he wouldve posted something earlier. he has a legitiment reason to be upset and i dont blame him. and as a senior member mint taking it to that level couldve easily been avoided if you wouldve just left it alone

    +1
  • i am very embarassed for all of this but like all of you i joined this forum to share my passion for card collecting and hopefully meet people who shared similar interests since none of my close friends collect. But when somebody goes to extreme lengths to discredit you by disrespecting your family, looking up your personal info and leaving negative feedback its easy to get upset and do everything you can to clear your name. i would never do or say half the things mrmint has done but stooped to his level and got out of hand. i hope in the future all of you will get to me and see that im not what he makes me out to be and am as straight up as all of you. this shouldnt of been a issue for all of you but between me and mrmint but since hes tried to humiliate me in the past i wanted to bring it to everyones attention. damn i need a case of beer right now!!

The one in question used to bust my balls on every card I listed or cracked out from an EBAY purchase. I would list at a decent price price and take serious heat all the time until I put my foot down. A know a few members were on my side in those posts too. I saw no need as to how I was being slapped around trying to sell items at basically market price...some below.

Maybe just sorry grapes because you beat him to it?? Does this guy (mr.mint) collect ANYTHING, or is he basically a flipper of every single card he comes across? I mean, I flip cards too, but it is to finance my addiction on certain sets in particular.
