Are you really that dense? My point was that YOU clearly posted that you were screwing with him ON PURPOSE, even after you admitted he paid. You've spent a lot of time here documenting that you broke EBay's seller rules, and I'm just pointing out that you're digging yourself a hole.

Here's my last post on the subject since you can't stay on point without accusing me of being "BFFs" with the buyer for pointing out a few obvious things. I don't even KNOW the guy, and have never done any business with him to my knowledge.
Simpy put, eher's my entire point: You have STILL ignored the legit question of whether or not you sent him a NPB, which could have triggered the Neg from him. You have also ignored the fact that Ebay frowns FAR more on sellers going "off Ebay" to do a deal than they do with buyers.
That is all... I'm leaving until popcorn girl shows up..

yes i admit that i broke ebay rules by selling outside of ebay...ok thats a given. MRMINT23 and me made a mutual agreement to cancel the transaction through ebay and sell the card through paypal. HE received the card and LIKED the card. He even filed a dispute against me 5 days after he bought the card thinking it was lost in the mail..he received it and cancelled the claim against me. NOW he's posting negative feedback over A MONTH later???? He's even selling the card i sold him for more...if thats ok with you guys then thats a bunch of bullsh*t

What I know about "mrmint23" is that he's a very pleasant person to talk to and he seems to make wise buying and selling decisions, and enjoys this hobby for the same reason that most of us do. I got to meet him at the Cleveland National back in 2009. Nice dude!
What I know about "blackitalian" is very little, but what I do know is from information gathered from this forum, and his ebay feedback. That's all I have to go on. I know "blackitalian" as a person who sells a card for $800, then a couple days later demands $900 for it. Also sells a trimmed Namath to a guy. Also ships a 1989 Upper Deck Griffey card in a soft sleeve. Oh, and he's impossible to reason with. That's about it.
So yeah, I tend to lean toward "mrmint23". Did I win?

i totally understand and that makes sense. but my point is that just because he is well known by people on here doesnt mean he isnt shady and you shouldnt just side with him because of that. i have backed up everything i have said about this incident and was very suprised people were pointing the finger at me. i totally take blame for violating ebay rules and selling through paypal but for him to post negative feedback?? i mean come on, that was a dick move

Actually not true. I corrected my settings and contacted ebay. Problem solved.
I'm surprised at your jab at me. I've purchased a few things from you previously and you seemed like a good person to deal with. >>
Umm, we weren't directing that at you - At least I know I wasn't. I was asking if the OP ever checked HIS settings in light of your issue yesterday. To date, the question remains unanswered. Right now, I'm totally perplexed how a BUYER can even FILE a NPB, as is being claimed.
I have no skin in this game, and don't know either party. But I do know one side started ranting from the get-go, hasn't slowed down to check on my well-meaning suggestions, and has quickly resorted to the all-caps stereotype.
Now, there's still no popcorn girl - why am I still in here??

thats the whole issue nobody ever filed a NPB. he filed a claim on me saying the card hadnt gotten to him yet. but he recieved it 2 days later and cancelled his claim against me. A NPB was never filed from anyone. hes doing this to be a dick

The guy yesterday (ddamf - thanks for reminding me) was SURE he hadn't filed one either, only to find out EBay auto-files after 4 days without payment if you don't change the default settings. That was my original point/suggestion - nothing more. I wasn't then, nor have I at any time, taken sides.
Now, if the buyer took your selected reason for the cancellation (non-payment) negatively and Neg'd you as a result, then that's certainly not a cool move on his part. But there's clearly three sides to this story.

<< <i>Yeah, it was funny. But DID you leave him a NPB even accidentally?
My settings were set to do that. I contacted ebay and I was told that they would remove his NPB "strike".
There's about a 0% chance he has any idea what you're talking about.
EDIT: There she is!!!
