@Morgansforever, In class we're using MS SQL Server 2008 R2. I would love to work on the Mint's servers, but I don't think an introductory SQL/Database modeling class would get me very far!

I got my order in for 5 sets by telephone at 12:40 ET and received order #3833xxxx, but have not yet received email confirmation. I tried tracking my order on the Mint's website but I can't get past the page where I put in the tracking number and my last name. Do they even send email confirmation for orders done over the phone?
I have been trying all day both phone and computer... Just got in to order 5 sets. Says backorder.... Order number 38369xxx.
I feel like I put in a days work just to order these damn things.... I intend to place another order this evening...the first order is to flip. The 2nd one will be to keep....
I've been at the computer and phone trying all day from noon EST to right now at 6.40pm EST. Over 6 hrs of refreshing / redialing. Then bam, right to the order page and straight thru the charge page within a minute.
6+ hrs of grief gives me order 38394*** Still shows backorder. Apparently I'm way late though which probably explains why I could finally get thru on the Web. Phone lines still busy though. Strange how it all works, some get right in and others spend all day dialing.

As reported on page two of this thread order #38396###
I could NOT get to a computer today. Dialed the mint about 200+ times and my daughter tried logging on through the afternoon from her home. Just completed my check-out ten minutes ago. Oh, the drama.

I had tried for almost 3 hours to order online and over the phone. I got to the point where I had 5 sets in my shopping cart, but when I clicked on the Quick Checkout button, the Mint website froze up. I was able to place an order over the phone at about 2:50 p.m. EST, and received an e-mail confirmation a few minutes later. I exited the Mint website at that time. At 6:30 p.m., I logged on to the Mint website to check the status of my order on the Track Order page, and there were two orders shown. I clicked on the order number that was not for the phone order, and was directed to the checkout page., where I had left my incomplete online order. I didn't want to take a chance on having both orders cancelled, so I clicked on the Back button to check on the phone order. Thankfully, it was OK, so I went back to the online order, and it then had a message stating that it had been suspended.
If there were a lot of other frustrated people ordering online, it's very possible that they had double, or even triple, orders. The duplicates will be cancelled, and that should free up sets for others who ordered later in the day.
At 4:07pm PST I did a "Quick Checkout" with the order I had attempted online earlier today. I had only gotten as far as getting my order into my Shopping Cart, but couldn't checkout at that time. It appears that it went through, although backordered until 11/11/11. The order I placed via phone earlier today is also finally showed up when I went to Order Tracking. My second order is #38399xxx. I used different shipping addresses, different credit cards with different addresses, and different email addresses for each order. Hopefully I'll get them both.
Wanted to order two groups (3 & 2). In the confusion, freeze-ups, etc. My 3 went through with email confirmation. The 2 went through but no email. I went to my account to verify my two orders were there and saw three orders. Somehow I did an order for four. I spent an hour trying to call and finally got through. The very nice operator saw the orders, but couldn't do anything since they were new. Said call back tomorrow when things settle down. Went back in tonight and saw three orders, but clicking them two said suspended. I called and half an hour later - got through. By that time the other two order numbers disappeared from my account. The rep. said no info on those numbers. Talked to a super who said same thing, but he would forward it up the chain to see if I could get my place back in line (not thinking that will happen). Ordered two more just in case - but am in the stand-by group looking sad as the rest of the confirmed passengers board the aircraft...
So check your 'Track Order' page just to make sure you have what you think you have...
So let me ask this, if you have an order number from the mint via e-mail, are you in? Also, can anyone determine at what order number that the waiting list kicked in?

I got five single orders in all before 12:30, lucky I guess. I don't see how some on here got shut out. My first order took until 12:06. It was a pain waiting and watching the loading circle go round and round. I actually had 7 orders in and did not know it. I had to go back in and cancel two so I would not loose all my sets. My lowest number is #38325.

Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set: 1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S. Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
Somebody's head should be on a stick after what happened today.
I finally realized that after being online for so long, and having several windows open to the mint, these might have gone on the "Waitlist" while I was working through the order process!!
Hope I get a set, but such is life. It was NOT a fun afternoon!
