    I'm always game for 81, 84, or 86 wax. It's not football... But is the desert shield wax still available at bbce? Ide like to see that in a group rip

    Too bad this would have been very cool to add to my unopenned collection at a great price... I'm suprised other pack collectors didn't jump on this.

    Apparently I missed that "Toro" decided to back out of the group rip. There's 1 1976 Topps Football wax back available. First person that wants the extra pack please respond to the tread and then please pay BBCE.

    Somebody want to grab that 76 pack,it's still available. I just bought over $350 worth of stuff from Steve the last week and was really into this for the 78 tray, which turned into the 79 tray, which turned into not getting what I originally wanted. If nobody picks it up by Thursday, I'll pay for it I suppose.

    Just sent the pay pal. Added 2 packs of 81 topps too. I def should just buy a psa Montana and stop wasting money trying to hit one in a pack. I prob could have bout 2 or 3 by now with the money I've wasted on packs... But I just can't resist.. I'm trying to start a pack collection and planning on keepin one of each sealed... But really have my doubts I'm going to be able to no open them.

    I'm sorry to hear that, so we now have these packs remaining (2) 1976 and (8) 1979 packs for grabs. If someone wants daverats 10 packs then please post then pay BBCE. I really hope this doesn't hurt us in future rips, this is the second person dropping out after we closed the packs.

    Got my two 76 packs today. One was open but I suspect it happened in shipping. No good players out of the ten cards in that pack and no commons worth submitting. I'll save the other one for a rainy day!

    I got complete zero. Left one pack sealed. The corners and centering was mediocre on the 76 pack. I want someone to punch square in the face the next time I buy a pack of 81 topps. I should just buy a psa Montana on eBay today to end the temptation. I know buying packs to open is a stupid move financially.... But I just can't resist.

    My 2 '79 packs yielded a few very nice commons and a couple decent stars. The 3 '76 pack however were a major let down. The only decent cards were the "wax" cards on the bottom, all three had sharp corners a good centering and of course wax stains on the back. The rest had corner issues (some with major issues) and centering was all over the place. I've never seen cards in the middle of packs have corner issues like a few of these had. I'll scan the worst and post later tonight.
