Official Group BBCE Topps Football Box Break# 8---SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT!!

I'll give this a try and wanted to see who has any interest in doing another group rip. We'll purchase the following from BBCE 1976 Topps Football wax box and 1979 Topps Footbal wax box.

For the first 48 Hours after this thread is listed you are limited to 2 packs per box. After 48 hours passes you can buy 2 more. After a full 96 hours has passed it is open game for anyone. WE must sell this out before payment can be made and packs can be shipped. Please reply to this thread with your packs, and don't PM me.

Pending that Steve will give us our usual 10% discount and here are the shipping charges and packs available:

Anyone can pay through paypal using account BBCExchange@sprintmail.com or can call at 800-598-8656 to use a credit card.

SHIPPING IS EXACT POSTAGE

Also, S/H and insurance rates are:.
1-5 packs---->$3.00 plus insurance (optional, but recommended)
6 packs or more---->$5.00 plus insurance (optional)

The added insurance rates are exactly what www.usps.com has listed:

If you want to participate please post in this thread with how many packs you want and I will keep track.

For those who have never done a group rip, once the lot's sell out you will need to contact BBCE to make your payment. They will ship from their location to you directly.

Once we are sold out and you pay BBCE please post in this thread or send me a pm so that I can track the progress.

Please if paying by Paypal or calling them with c.c. include your "FORUM NAME". They will need that, as there are a lot of different people involved in this rip.

    It is usually 3 wax packs wrapped in cellophane with a cardboard backing. I do believe that in the 60's they had trays with 6 wax packs in them. I'm at work right now so I can't post a picture of one for you. Maybe someone else can assist with a picture so everyone can see.

    Jim, I have three requests in front of yours, I will ask Steve how he typically handles boxes when I speak with him to confirm the discount on the wax boxes.

    Guys, This is a good deal on the 79 Trays for $37.50. Steve Typically sells 79 Wax Trays for $50ea. With the discount it would be $45ea. He even commented to me that this way below what he would sell them for, but would honor the price as it was his mistake. I think we will easily sell these out.

    Wax Trays are much more difficult to come by than wax packs. For someone that is an unopened collector, this is a heck of a deal.

    Matt is absolutely right. The wax trays are rarer than the regular wax packs and, therefore, more attractive to unopened collectors in a manly kind of way. image

    Since the chances of me keeping 70's Football unopened is about the same as Tom Arnold Not Marrying a Fat Chick for the 6th time, count me out of the 79 Wax Trays. Does he have anymore boxes of the 79 Wax packs because I would be down for at least another half dozen packs?

    There is a time stamp on every single post. This post began at 11:20 EST. So 48 hours after the initial post would qualify for the 48 hours.

    Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
