What is the time frame for calling out the fact that you may have been taken by a CU Board Member

A board member did a multi-person submission back in early July and was gracious enough to let me add my cards to it. Results took several months to pop, but, per the submitter, the results popped and the cards were in the mail from PSA on October 5th. Last notification from the submitter was that the cards were received from PSA on Oct 25th (seriously, 20 days to received from PSA ?? ) and that they would be mailed to me in 1-2 days. That was the last response to a PM that I received, even though 2 additional requests for updates have been asked for. I will offer a profuse apology if everything works out and I get my cards, but I am past the point of being comfortable with the delays from the Board Member.
Not quite ready to call this guy out, but he does have my cards and my money and I can't get any response. Nor has he posted on the boards in a few weeks.
If interested, I can offer a time line of events, but let's go the simple route....any suggestions??

<< <i>How were the grades? >>
My grades were great!! It was only 5 cards and I got (2) 10's and (2) 9's. They were on jumbo cards, so the higher grades are a little more difficult to come by. One of the PSA 10's has a very low production run (less than 100) and the other was a HOF Postcard SGC 98 crackout...both were the highest graded examples of each by at least 2 grades.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
I hope it all works out.
I've had several people piggyback on mine from the boards. I always try to ship either that day or the following at the latest. Good luck and hope everything turns out o.k.

<< <i>Does this person have a lot of posts on this board? Or could he be more of a hit and run guy? >>
Been here a while, has less than 1000 posts, so not a daily poster, but is classified as a "Veteran". I am holding out hope that there is a valid reason for the delay and that Scott and I will get our cards, but, as most people who have replied to this thread have confirmed, there is cause for concern.

You've waited long enough. No one would blame you guys for calling him out now.

well, guess that means that someone can take their pissy little vendetta against the member with the SNL character name and shove it sideways
edit: I'll assume the member with the SNL character name shouldn't hold his breath waiting for an apology for the false accusation

I think he was referring to member Raheem Abdul Muhammed.
I hope you get your cards back Mike, I know you work hard on your sets!
I have my own questions about it.
So from that experience it is not a far stretch for me to believe that he may have been the one questioned. If the OP says it is not him, then I will take him at his word, but no apology.

If Nam's suggestion is accurate, I think I know the reason. Kirby Puckett died. He died like a couple months ago or something. Sorry for the bad news. Hopefully everything works out.

<< <i>No apology given. I participated in the first three group subs here. The two done by Bill went like butter. The one done by the afore mentioned poster was the last one I would ever do with him.
I have my own questions about it.

Well, if it wasn't Gumby, and you accused him, regardless of your past issues with him, an apology is in order. If you want to lay out the facts of your bad deal, that's your prerogative, but to wrongly accuse someone of potential fraud DEMANDS an apology! If you feel that you are in the right for making such unfounded accusations and feel that you have no obligation to make an apology, then you are a tool! And this isn't about "getting a rise" out of you, this is about manning up for something that you did that is completely wrong.

Dear Mr. Nightcrawler,
Please try to keep up with the conversation.
Much thanks.

Why don't you get a little more specific, instead of casting vague aspersions against Gumby. You've been incessantly calling him names lately presumably because you've been going to town with your political posts elsewhere, and it's getting rather tired. Grow the hell up. I was was on Gumby's group sub, and my card arrived in a timely, forthright fashion. Why don't you explain what raised questions for you.
<< <i>Otherwise, only three others come to mind. He got kicked out of his house, he died, or he ripped you all off. I hope it works out! >>
OH NO! Not ANOTHER death! We had one of those on here once before! LOL

<< <i>With the work it takes to put one of these together, the work it takes to actually sub to PSA, and the work it takes to get everyone their sub back, it sounds more like he may have ran out of money to ship everything back to the original owners. Life has it's busy cycles, include that with the cost to get them back to people, that may be the biggest reason. Otherwise, only three others come to mind. He got kicked out of his house, he died, or he ripped you all off. I hope it works out! >>
Toro...the "ran out of money" theory holds no water. I sent a PM to the submitter some time back offering to send more money for insured and/or delivery confirmed shipping. Additionally, it seems like there are only 2 of us that are on the hook with this submitter. There were some potentially valuable cards that Scott and I submitted, but only valuable to the Smoltz, McGwire, or Hoyt Wilhelm collectors. There were no high dollar vintage cards that he submitted for us, so that is what makes it more odd that he would try and get away with keeping them. All in all, there was not a lot of money to be gained by the submitter. As I stated earlier and others have, as well, we just want our cards.
