Stop buying those big, useless chunks of white stuff Weiss! You know better than that! I grabbed 300oz of silver on Monday, but my wife has my camera, so pics will have to wait till tomorrow. I might....might get a shot or two of the entire hoard! It'll make for a pretty neat photograph me thinks.

I knew it was going to happen! I bought my first two 5oz Silver Bar and now I find that the size is perfect!
On the other hand, I found out that the NWT bars have a lower quality compared to the PanAm.

No doubt that's a neat bar, Opa.

Love the date. I've said all along the major players all seem to have one or two features I like. Just wish someone top tier would create the "end all" bar.

    Nice 2.5!

My dealer had a partial Washington quarter set he offered to me for melt. Included a G-VG 37-s. I turned it down image

there is 175 quarters in there? I guess the top down view can distort things and make you think there is a lot less!

Why would you turn it down at melt?

'Cause I wanted gold instead of silver. Actually now that I think about it he wanted 13.25x face. I don't think that was too much above melt (this was Thursday).

A blind man can see why collecting is more fun than stacking.
But they both seem to make good sense.

FWIW, a month ago we could buy bags of 90% wholesale at melt or a little bit less. Friday the same supplier wanted melt plus $300 per bag from us.

Only problem is an ol'poboy like me can't afford to do both.
That's why I like "collect-a-stacking", i.e. BU Rolls, common date gold pieces, generic AU/BU Morgans, common modern Au & Ag commems, 1960 - '62 - '63 Mint Sets (under valued IMO) etc.
Kinda the best of both worlds for us po'folk that can't afford to do both! image

Opa; That's a pretty bar !! I like RCM products.

I've been a hankerin' for a 100 oz'r .... trying to decide if I should go with extruded or poured... Figured the extruded would be easier to sell at a future date..

    ***ANYONE*** wanna trade a 100 oz'r for my (100) 1-oz rounds ?

My 175 quarters were had for 12X, that was on my birthday, wednesday. image The 2 1/2 is MS61. I thought it was pretty nice for that grade.

The top down picture is misleading. I stacked them up and placed the only three SLQ's on the top.
