Official Group Sub Thread - POPPAGE #1 cards have arrived. PM me if you are in group 1

Spoke with Joe and he agreed to give us almost the same deal we had last time except this one is actually a little better. To get this rate we need to get to 2000 cards or pretty darn close.

Cards that can be included are 1956-present
Certified auto cards and memorabilia cards 1998-present are allowed
Maximum declared value per card of $100
Grading fee is $4.25 per card

For S&H charges to PSA, back to me and back to you I am going to borrow Craig's idea from the last sub. Each submitter will pay a total of $4.65 per card. This will cover shipping to and from PSA. When cards are returned to me from PSA, I will send everyone a separate Paypal invoice. Insurance is extra but the exact amount for the coverage requested.

For initial grading fees and S&H payment can be sent through Paypal as a personal gift to avoid the fees or cashiers check or money order.

Cards should be shipped to me in CS1's. Penny sleeves are optional based on personal preference. If you do not have any CS1's I have a large order coming this week and will use mine if you send an extra $0.05 per card.

I will handle the sub forms. If you are sending an obscure issue that I may not be familiar with, please include a declared value.

My mailing address:

Bill Holler
284 Arthur Ave
Shreveport, LA 71105

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Let me know how many you would like to sub so we can keep a running total.

Jake (bigjaco) has offered to assist with the spreadsheet that will allow me to print out one master sheet when everyone has registered.

To register:
1) Turn on private messages on your CUAccount. You can do this by editing your profile (click the profile button at the top of the page)
2) Private Message (PM) bigjaco with your email address, first and last name.
3) You will get a registration notification PM'ed to you with detailed directions on how to register your submission.

Jake (bigjaco) will then send you instructions on how to submit your cards. Those of you who had a submission with Mike (thenavarro) will be familiar with this. If you have questions you can contact bigjaco or myself.

    Thanks for setting this up.

Do you have a time frame on when you want to send this sub to PSA?

    Cheers!

Knew I forgot something. Would prefer to have everything ready to go by the 22nd but will extend it another week if a few people need some more time.

Bill, Thanks for doing this. Excuse my ignorance, but for each card, what is the amount I need to send to you with the cards? Thanks.

$4.65 total per card sent. Return shipping back to you will be handled when I receive the cards back from PSA.

A little confused on shipping here.
$4.65 per card.......is that $4.25 for grading plus .40 cents added per card?
If not, and it's $4.65 per card for shipping alone excluding grading is way too high for me.

20 cards X $4.65 per card for shipping is $93.

Will you be upset if i send and Dr. J cards in this sub? <wink wink>

Bill, based on my experience with these, I'd suggest giving a little more than 11 days for people to get cards to you. PSA just had a 2 month $5/card special, so I'm guessing a lot of people jumped in on that. If you're going to get 2000 cards, I think you'll want to set a later deadline for receipt. Just a thought...

I tried for at least 1952 and a declared value of over $100, maybe $250. Both were a no go. I'm just thrilled with the $4.25 a card.
