FIXED BST experience with two forum members

So I agreed to sell a couple of coins to two different board members. One bounced a check and came up with other excuses as to what happened and another had some probably legitimate things happen and promised to follow through in the near future. Neither has come through at all.
Is there a way to rate members on the BST board? I am out the cost of bank fees. In addition, the prices that were agreed upon at that time probably can not be obtained in the current market. What do you think?

.....or go to the stamp forum and post like hell.
I would sure like to see PCGS ban members from posting buys or on the BST board if they are shown to not honor their buys/sells.

He's been registered here seven years longer than you have.
Not that that necessarily imparts any more "street cred' than your post count does. Does it?
I do not make the rules.

No it's true...The unwritten laws of the Post Count Tribunal
1-999 posts = you are on double secret probation
1000-4999= you get one get out of jail free card
5000-9999= you can kill one member of lower ranking with a trident
10,000- or more= you can plead the Shaggy defense. "It wasn't me"

Did you know that facetious is the only word in the english language which uses all the vowels only once and in alphabetical order?

We'll rate 'em for you, but we gotta have names to do so. You could always add "BST failures with ....." in your signature.

What some of you geniuses dont realize is that your post count DONT go up by making multiple posts to the same thread but mine just did by one lmao

I just recently saw a dude make 78 posts on one thread saying exactly the same thing. When he left he had 78 posts

<< <i>OK, thanks for the "comments" and "allowing" me to raise my post total. Now, back to the question, is there truly a way to rate board members on the BST board? I did receive a good PM with some suggestions but my questions is truly honest/legit. >>
your question is truly honest, and the honest answer right now is "no". you just have to go by word of mouth and gut feelings.
Remember. Post count is everything.
And congratulations on 500.
Sorry for the levity in an otherwise serious thread; I find that my avatar is taking over my actions.
I thought we had a way to rate other forum members, but I cannot find the feature now. Ah, well, it is irrelevant. Nobody knows if 1 is good or 10 is good, so the whole system is absurd.
but ethical behavior and integrity are essential for Forum
members. A breach of this trust, is about the most severe
offense someone can commit on the Forum. It is not related
in any way to the number of posts or to the lack thereof. After
every means of resolving the issues with the parties involved
is attempted, then an airing of the facts would seem in order.

Very well said. I think you hit the nail on the head! I changed my sig line to show my successful transactions. I am still working on possible resolutions and for that reason "outing" them at this time is not the answer. I do think that process for rating members on the BST board would be helpful. Good night to all!
Resolve the issues at hand and do it quickly. For as soon as the facts
come out, reputations will be destroyed and future transactions with Forum
members will be nil. The clock is now running and time is very short. We will await
hearing that all is resolved or a full declaration of all the facts involved, as well as
the individuals involved.

I have had with Forum members has been exemplary as well as enjoyable. I think
that we all share responsibility to keep it that way.

I guess the little icon didn't show up.
Many members on this forum that now it cannot fit in my signature. Please ask for entire list.
Without threatening, you might then consider stating that otherwise you'll take it to the US Coin Forum, for opinions.
Again, Good Luck!

Good call Bear. Several years ago when I first joined I started a thread that agitated the water a little and instead of either discussing the issue at length or letting it die I showed my a** to some very good board members here. I think TomB was a recipient of my stupidity. Thankfully, over time and posting more civilized posts and several smooth BST transactions I've gained my credibility back and thankfully TomB let me slide and now we get along nicely occasionally exchange PMs. Tom, if you read this I apologize for acting like an a** in that thread. I read it a couple of weeks ago and was embarassed at my actions. I didn't realize I was that badly out of line.
