Golden toned high end Unc. 38 Ds are common. In the 60s, I bought one from a dealer who had several rolls of them (each one looked like an identical twin of the others). The stain just above the tail looks out of place on this coin.
"Vou invadir o Nordeste, "Seu cabra da peste, "Sou Mangueira......."
<<< Here ya go. Grade just posted. Can you get it right? >>>
I'll guess either 1.5 points lower than it would've graded 2 yrs. ago, or bodybagged for some reason either actual or imaginary or just on general principles
I have no idea what they are talking about ot referring to. Its Like thy nit pick trying to find ways to keep coins out of their slab. I could alost understand "questionable color" (although I think its NT), but damage or tooling?

Would fit nicely in my Type Set.
Looks 66/67, depending on lustre to me.

The real variable in this equation, which isn't shown at all in the photos, is the luster. How is it?
The catch is...that is got a "Genuine" grade. Guess the reason for the Gennie.
<< <i>To make it look presentable? Not sure what that means. >>
The obverse appears to have a line on the bottom of the coin that could be construed as a tooling mark. Just a wild guess.

Was it Genuine for artificial toning or something?

Reverse is a 68 all day long, those two little pesky "target" marks on the obverse just might keep it a grade lower.
<< <i>It graded Genuine "98 Damage or Tooling."
