I got my 3 76 Topps Cellos in the mail today!!! My rip strategy is to rip one. If no Payton, rip a second. If still no Payton, keep the third unopened and have it slabbed.

First pack yielded nothing of note, other than a Steve Grogan rookie. Probably an 8 or 8.5. I'll probably submit it in the April special. The second pack, again, nothing of note, other than a Steve Bartkowski rookie. No Walter!
    image

I'll keep the third pack unopened and add it to my collection.

Thanks for organizing the rip. While I didn't get a Payton, it was fun.

That is unbelievable you should by a powerball ticket. A jordan from the 1986 fleer group and and now a gretzky from this one.

Congrats on the Gretzky. I'm debating on whether to rip my pack or save it for my pack collection. I will probably do the latter since a Gretzky has already been pulled. How many are typically in a box?

Don't the rules indicate the the first /best rookie pulled from each box go back to the person that organized the rip???
Awsome pull! Since I didn't end up getting in on the hockey, glad to see there is some good stuff. Can't quite tell from the scan, but looks like an 8 to me?!?!?

Mine didn't come in the mail today, so I'll be living thru any scans you guys can post!

Hitting the stip clubs in St. Louis area tonight, so check you all out much later!

I opened all but the hockey.

    Didn't get squat.

    the 84's were rough

the 81's are well centered and sharp corners

the 76 cello has some rough corners although i got a good looking kenny stabler and some other guy.

Saved the Payton and Lambert for you guys

keeping the hockey for my pack collection

My hockey packs just came in the mail. 2 79/80 2 85/86. What is a man to do. Should I open them now or wait until after the O's game tonight. Decisions, decisions. They just won't stop calling my name right now.
