Coca Cola Silver...
Meltdown

Here's a 75th anniversary Coca-Cola ingot. I had heard these were collectible before I ever knew anything about rare silver.
I saw one from another state at an antique show and got to talking to the dealer about it and his $75 price tag on a single ounce of silver.
Fast forward a couple years and I saw one at a local shop here in town so I purchased it for $19.99.
I put it on ebay to see what would happen and it closed for $747.00
Apparently the Northwest versions of these ingots are extremely rare... so keep your eyes open.

Unfortunatly I don't think that I'm worthy to give the title.
Good to know and good for you!

I collect Coca-Cola silver art bars but I have not bought one in a long while since they are much harder to find than 3-4 years ago. Even the most common Coca-Cola bars are harder to find than a few years ago and if I find one at one of the common Coca-Cola bars at one of the local dealers, then they will price them for ebay-like prices.

I sold that sucker on ebay as well for over $800.
I'm still hoping to find a 3rd one someday.

Good score on the CocaCola piece.
Interesting to see where my error eagle ends. My max bid was in the $250 area when I bought it. Fortunately I picked it up for less.
If history is a quide, $400-500 may be about the hammer on this.
