As you likely read in the other thread, Tim Mastin (erinstubby from the CU Boards) passed away last week. Tim was a great member of these boards and will be missed by many.

Tim left behind a wife and three children. I am organizing a group donation for them here on the CU boards. Please click on the donation link in my signature below if you are interested in participating! I will be matching all paypal fees so that 100% of every donation will be sent through to Tim's family. $855 is amazing, I couldn't believe how high it's gotten already. But, I know we can do better. Even $5-$10 will go a long way, so no amount is too small to send. I am going to be looking through my stuff and join elemenopeo's charity thread, with Tim's family being the recipient. Even if I can only get $10 for an item, its still $10. I hope other's can do the same.

I had to evacuate from my apartment complex about 90 minutes ago due to someone deciding to burn out in the underground parking. There was burnt rubber smoke all through the building.

I'm finally back now and just replied to all PMs and updated the total. Thanks again to EVERYONE!!

Was wondering what others thought, using 4-5 bucks of the money for a sympathy card from all of us.

I'm actually planning to pick up a condolence card to send with the check. I will spring for that, there's no need to take it out of the fund.

I would like to know if PSA, Carol, Joe Orlando , the PSA company have made a donation in any way. Its my opinion that since Tim was a PSA supporter that now would be time for them to give back. remember folks its the holiday season , its a time of year do something that you an be proud of.

We all hope the very best for Tims family, but you have found a way to let us do just a little more.
