I just couldn't resist this 10 ozer, even though it was over $20/oz. Now I just realized that I don't have any type of storage box that it will fit into!!! I really kinda like it, tho. Guess I'm lucky that I didn't go for the 1 kilo size!

Nice 10 ozer!

Get it slabbed!
My Adolph A. Weinman signature
at it much longer then i do most pictures around here!
Added: The 10 oz. Kookaburra measures just a hair less than 3" across and about 5/16" thick. The 1 kilo coin was probably about 5" in diameter and about 3/4" thick. Don't think that I wasn't tempted.

Edit: Why is that bengal dated 2010?
5 ouncers are my favorite to collect.
<< <i>It's dated 2010 because for some strange reason the Perth mint decided to mint the last 3 coins in the series I (lunar) and start over with a series II this year. So we had 2 lunar rats(mice), 1 ox and 1 tiger. >>
Just wondering.... Are you a dork
