  • UtahCoin is ever so humble. Readers should keep in mind that he was one of the very few on the forum to announce in public a sale in quantity when silver went over $20, and platinum over $2000. He did so, like this post, when the transaction took place, not weeks later in hindsight when it was obvious it was a good move.

What's the premium for physical over paper this week for 90% junk silver, if you can find any?

image That was sheer luck that I hit it on the exact day it peaked. Sold a LOT of platinum that day.

    My gut....
The same gut feeling that told me to sell Gold and Plat. the day they were over $1K & $2K
The same gut feeling that told me to buy all the silver I could that day back in about 1991 when silver was $2.65 oz.
My gut feeling has served me well over the years in deciding clients to work with and people to trust, and people to avoid.

I wish I could give you something more tangible, but I can't.

Maybe it will be $7.50 again! I'd toss my guess out and say whatever we see today or Friday will be the cycle low.

it has been there before for a few minutes/hours in the last week or so.
it quickly rebounds back above 10 bucks.

i think below 9 is a big time drop. lets wait and see ;-)

I may buy some more today, for some dollar cost averaging. See what happens tomorrow..... If it drops again, we may see a run up Monday.

Looking for education: Why do you think it should be down at $7.50? I've been watching and waiting to buy and was going to a few days ago....glad I didn't.

For those of you reporting "buying" under $10, I assume you're talking about "paper silver"? Other than 1,000 ounce bars, I don't know anyone selling for less than $12...

And by the way, buying paper silver, scares me to death. I want it in my hot little hand...
