The ultimate Arizona error coin...PICS Added...NEW pics as requested

Seems my coin has a Cactus ferruginous pygmy-owl located on the left cacti arm and quite large at that. Anybody seen this yet? Will post pics on my lunch break at noonish.

Yes, please see if you can get a clear shot of the affected area, and update us.
Thx.
A Cud has to involve the edge of the
die - a piece of the die, from the edge
inword, must break off. Then, the metal
flows up into the recesses of that broken
area, leaving a blob of metal, or a (cow's)
"Cud", on that side, and a corresponding
weakness exactly opposite that area on
the coin, due to the lack of metal (it went
instead up into the broken die area, instead
of the other side of the coin).
This Arizona Quarter is a Die Chip - similar,
in that a piece of the die chipped away, but
not a cud, which by definition must involve
the edge of the die.
Hope that wasn't too wordy......
By the way, we're all waiting for an updated
Cud Book to come out, hopefully next year or
so.....I feel Cud's are a very underappreciated
and not fully understood area of the Minting
Process.
