Hey, I picked up Aubrey Huff off the waiver wire last week in my fantasy leagues working out well thus far. Two solid, young future studs in Markakis and Jones now if only you guys had some good young starters.....
mis read the standings but the one i looked at today has them both the same games back. so were as good aas theyankees for about a third of teh $$$$, so far
we have some real good young starter coming they just need to work through throwing the majors, it will come.
i picked up huff about 2 months ago and had to start him when big papi went down, now i'm not sure i want him to come back.

Terry Francona (aka not the Rays manager) is guiding the AL All Stars and Sherrill is your representative. Brian Roberts is up for final voting but probably has no chance, along with Guillen, considering they're up against Longoria, Dye and Giambi.
yeah i knew sherrill was going to be the all-star, until very recently he was very very good.

Are the O's in that downward spiral that I have been afraid of or are they going to turn start finishing their games. Sherrill may be the an All-Star but, luckily the last few games came after the decision was made. Still hoping for a .500 season but the last few losses have once again put my hopes in check. GO O's.

Guthrie had again another very nice outing. It was a 3-1 complete game win , which happened to be Guthrie's 1st major league complete game. A 9th inning defensive replacement , paid off fast , as Payton's leaping catch at the left field wall , may or may not had been caught by Luke Scottt.
Only 7 more wins till the 60 wins mark.

Went to the game last night and two things really stood out for me:
1) Josh Hamilton is a really, really good hitter
2) The O's outfield (LF and CF to be more specific) is a complete mess. Miscommunication, misjudging balls, etc... Hopefully next year we will be able to find a consistent lineup so the guys wouldn't be switching positions every other game. I'd be ok with Markakis in right, Luke Scott in left and Adam Jones in center, but it should stay like that all year. Jay Payton looked like completely lost out there, and Montanez didn't look much better.
the O's SS really stink this year. jones is out for the year he'll be there next year with maybe l. scott but i think they will have another left fielder next year hopefully around the same age as markakis and jones so they can be good for the next 8+ years.

At 59 -- 62 , O's have a slim chance at .500. They have far exceeded most people expectations.
