My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

  • Let me know if any of your Kluzewski cards are for trade - or any of your Sox '60s and '61s. I'm working on Raw mid-grade sets for those.

    Great cards, BTW!

  • Picked up at a small auction today along with some raw late 70's baseball. Never saw a Kashin in person but at $10 figured it was worth the gamble to pick up & send in for grading.

don't really have much to show this week, it's been kinda slow, so to honor the Mavs for their utter destruction of the Lakers, as well as the author of this thread, the honorable Mayor Burgundy(?), i thought it would be nice to show off my Spanarkel. image

    image
  • Jim "Sparky" Spanarkel. Wow, I went to high school with him. Can you pick him out of the yearbook photo below. Also in the picture, Mike O'Koren of UNC, the Nets, and Bullets.
