Hey Gary. If no one else is calling for the box have Wade send it back this way. I'd like another crack at it, if that's OK.

    Getting greedy arent we? imageimageimageimageimage

ClayChaser has already called for the box next, then after him BigJohnD has called for it. If BRdude or Musky1011 do not call for it then you can have a crack at it, OK?

Got the box from MorganHunter today. Had a nice coin chat and told some tall tales!

    I'll post details Sunday night.

Did a first look, and all contents accounted for with these questions:

The 2 tubes of dimes contain 50 and 38 coins
The 2006 mint set is missing the P cent-half sheet

The slipgate 06d, 08o, and 11s barber 25 cents were taken by Boom

My son's reaction to Earl's SBA was "YUK!". Sorry Earl, but you just can't add lipstick to a pig!

I'll pm TC with a proposed swap.

From when I recieved the original shipment from Gary.......

All the coins have been accounted for EXCEPT the 'rolls' of Merc/Roosie have $4.50 sloshing around the tupperware bowl & only $4.20 in a closed tube. A few of these look to be 'problem' coins.

Yeah I think that the two dime rolls were short by about 5 coins each, so no sweat. If the dimes are problem coins, set them aside and maybe someone else will take them for melt.

There should be $8.70 in dimes, but I see there's $8.80! image
Maybe I need to learn how to add. image

CC - You are right on both counts! I need to make a note of it in the manifest.

Edit - The current manifest on page 8 is up to date as of 9/25. I noted the fix on the rolls of silver dimes and gave the UNC sets to CC to give to his kid(s). I also noted that the three Barber quarters put in by slipgate have been taken by BOOM....

    Mornin' Ladies. image

The tube with the 38 dimes had come apart in transit and when I rounded them all up I could only find like 36 or so. I added an extra that was lying around. None of the tubes were opened by me. I asked TC71 what I wanted to know. He replied and it was good enough for me therefore there were NO TUBES opened here.

As for the Silver Proofs, they were in a seperate box which I laid aside and never opened till the box was shipped. One afternoon I happened to spot this alien box that had Big Dog written on it and immediately I opened it and it was then & there that I notified Gary and asked what he wanted me to do with them. He responded - I complied.

I HAD & still DO have strong feelings regarding the 80-S I put in goind a minimum of Proof-like particularly when I noted eyoung's note regarding the 79-S PCGS 63 (should have been a minimum PL as well) When I lay them side by side I then was as sure as I could be because I had already performed several "tests" to see how much depth there was in the fields. I could clearly see words on a pencil from as far away as 5 inches or more as well as my self and parts of my anatomy including my fingers, myself, my eyes, my winky etc. Oh no! I've done it now. I've tickled my own self. My "winkie" image Now I REALLY need to go to Church! image

Hey, y'all check this out. Look at this from your normal seat at the computer then leave it on screen and begin to back away and watch what happens. I hope it works.

I would like to host another TAG sometime early next year probably. With the Holidays coming up, I will be doing some traveling and might not be near a computer all that much. I would be more than happy to take part in a TAG if someone was else is willing to host. I think BOOM was thinking about doing an invitation only tag............... imageimage

Sure. IF I host such a tag you'll certainly be on the list of invitees.

It would be a small group, for sure!
