I noticed the larger number of semi-sp's as well. I definitely have a problem, I still have two blasters left but had to take a break from ripping to go check another Walmart for blasters, no luck but they did have 30 of the blister packs so I bought all those. Is there any medication for this?

Before I get to the blister packs I wanted to share a quick story about an ebay seller. All to often we only hear about the bad sellers and I wanted to share a good experience. I bought a B.J. Upton black refractor and he accidentally sent me a J.W. Porter red auto, we weren't getting each others emails so he requested my info from ebay and called me. We talked for a bit and I told him that I would send the Porter to the actual buyer so he didn't have to wait for it to come back and be resent. The seller said he would make it up to me. Well he did, today I got the Upton and an original 1959 Yogi Berra (not a buyback). Great seller, ebay ID josephcb09 Now on with the ripping.

Is it just me? Card # 23 Robinson Cano (Green Back), is the toughest card to find in the basic set. Between three collectors, opening 3 cases plus 4 boxes, 2 were obtained!! Craig in Ohio (All Heritage collectors are nutz.)

After a hobby case, 4 retail boxes (not blasters) and 16 walmart blisterpacks I have no # 40 or #322 greenbacks. The only #12 I have came from one of the last blister packs and had a dinged corner. Probably it's random selection determining which cards you have the least of.

These so called semi SP's are tougher than the listed 75 SP's. I have 3-4 of some of them.

Am I missing something? What excatly are the semi-SPs. All the cards in the 2 hobby boxes I opened either have black or green backs, so what am I missing? Are the semiSPs the black backs?

You are probably correct. It seems in years past of Heritage there always seemed to be one or two cards that you wondered after a while if the card really existed. Some of those semi-SPs (Green), are very hard to get at least for me. Certainly more difficult than their counter-parts with the black backs. Welcome Heather--- Your sanity hearing is scheduled for tomorrow. Craig in Ohio (All Heritage collectors are nutz.)

LeaiasCards, the semi-SP's are the greenbacks with the same # as the blackbacks. They're much tougher than the other greenbacks and some are tougher than the SP's IMO.

I didn't get card #8 until my 12th box from the case.

Picked up 4 Wal-Mart blasters last night, tried to post on my pulls...the site was down for 16 hours or so...at least on my end.

Anyway, blasters again have done me well.

Jeter Refractor and Minoso Clubhouse Relic, along with 2 more chromes and 7 or 8 of the other inserts.

Black backs were pulling at 2 per pack most of the time, and I was able to complete 8 of th 10 Perez cards.

Glad I made the purchase.

I have a question- are the three versions Jerry Owens (198 GB, 198 BB and 310) considered rare or on the same level as the Smoltz or Santana? Does anyone know what Topps' rationale was?

Mick65 , I have at least 2 of every Owens variation, not sure if there was precedence in the original set for that.

Zep, card # 8 was another of my tough ones. I'm sorting and pulling a 2nd base set tonight and have run into 10 greenbacks that I'm missing thru card # 160.

Jim, funny thing on the Chris Ray is he was the only blackback I didn't have after opening my hobby case.

Thanks, it's interesting for the same player but the player info is different on the back, not really just a duplicate card with a different color. Thought that they may have done something similar in the 59 set.

I have opened heritage 8 years in a row and save for a pinstripe, I have never seen a multi-color patch in the GU set, not to mention
a prime patch. I have no doubt in my mind that the howard is fake.

I'm still looking for real one autos. I would also like to trade some perez cards for the target cards.

10 boxes 2 relic cards andruw jones bat..pedro martinez jersey. 1 refractor rich harden. 2 chrome pudge rodriguez and ian kinsler. no flashbacks players. mostly flashback news cards. 1 nap david wright.

real bad run. but sold a perez set for 60$ got another one up and have planty more of them. just hopeing i can break even. ohh and 23 sp's in 10 7 pack boxes blister blaster i forget what we call them?

I just opened 22 blister packs at walmart, it looks like it is the stuff that is left over. I got NO relics and only one
refractor. Inserts were all over the place, so if you need some NAP's that might be good. The Perez cards are
actually inserted into the packs, but you do MUCH better buying blaster boxes.

I know the idea was not so well received, but looking ahead , how many guys plan to build the second half of the Heritage Chrome or refractor set that is scheduled to be released with Topps chrome?
Does anyone have an idea just how many Heritage cards a case of Topps chrome will yield ? another question would be how much could one expect to recoup if they broke the case for sale as singles /lots ?

My two cents worth. I am in total agreement with Kevin and David. As far as I am concerned the 08 Heritage chrome set consists of 100 cards. Craig in Ohio (Heritage collectors are all nutz).
