This Mr. Goji is bad news anyway in my opinion regardless of what he did to our fellow CU member - as shameful as that was. Look at a number of his auctions in the past - lots of $1 and $3 cards sold to build up his feedback. Interesting that he gets a $35 Crackerjack card graded but doesn't get this card graded:
Very, VERY suspicious in my view. I mean VERY SUSPICIOUS. Especially based on his "attitude" in this thread. My opinion is this could be one of those powersellers who is looking to close in for the kill with a big score on ebay. He eventually gets his account narued, but he don't care because he walks off with many thousands of dollars, and he's simply gonna open up another ebay account and start the process all over again. Again, this is just my opinion based on some quick observations. I would recommend avoiding this seller even if he had personally hand delivered a T-206 to every poster here.
<< <i>I find it kind of ironic how some of our regulars will scream about the bias of these boards against modern cards and their collector's, yet here he is taking shots at all of us modern collectors who apparently have no interest in his vintage gold. I guess we're not refined enough to appreciate vintage. Perhaps we should go to the Beckett boards to learn a bit more about what he deals in and then maybe we can begin to understand. >>
Holy crap Travis, could you please go buy a brain somewhere? This has absolutely NOTHING to do with the vintage vs. modern idiocy that perseverates these boards and EVERYTHING to do with the idiot that is trying to defraud everyone on here by offering vintage and just requing that we "email" him our "home address." Jason's actions on here attest to this fact repeatedly.
The fact that this escapes you is both sad and pathetic simultaneously. >>
v*i said - This is what you get when you post around a bunch of adolescents who buy $3 Topps heritage junk. I do not think your band of 10 or so idiots will hurt my selling on ebay considering I only sell nicer vintage only items.
I fully understand the basis for this thread and I would appreciate a bit more credit than that.
I was merely commenting that his posts sterotyping everyone here as modern junk collectors not appreciating vintage were contradictory to some of the recent threads outlining the supposed vintage bias. Don't get your panties in a bunch and take it as a personal attack. I wasn't calling anyone (you included) out.
You ever thing I bought the CJ graded already? Actually the 55 Clemente is at SGC as we speak! I'll let you know just how the grade turns out so you can drool. Go ahead and post on the net54 forum and see what happens. Those guys have a little intellegence about them and you would get ripped if you tried your BS antic on there. Go ahead. I have sold mostly higher end vintage. I do not sell $1-3 items on a regualr basis. You would know that if you did any research you babbling idiot! Like I said.......Ted enjoy your well deserved feedback! You earned it moron! Goodnight.
It's really not worth it. Just walk away from this knowing vintageinvestments is a douchebag.

So let us get this straight - you are offering for sale this 55 Clemente raw, but you submitted it to SGC and wouldn't wait until it comes back from SGC, and then be able to sell it for much higher money? That makes no business sense whatsoever but I guess to you that is "babbling" again. Also - I checked about ten auctions of yours with feedback, at random, and they were all well under ten dollars, most under five dollars. Some sold for 99 cents. There I go "babbling" the facts again. LOL

This idiot keeps saying he's done posting & then keeps posting anyway. Guess he lied about that, too. What a loser!

Ebay Powersellers scammers delight. Basic strategy, and I'm not accusing Mr. Goji of anything - just pointing out what I've seen a number of narued Powersellers do.
Sell say 1,000 cards at a buck to five bucks each. That's not a huge investment - even lose some money on it, no big deal. Then come screaming in with say 50K worth of "cards" - could be stolen scans, could be actual consignment cards but there is no intention to deliver. Collect 20 - 50K, don't deliver or fraudulently deliver, and walk away. Ebay narus you but you don't care because you've got a dozen or more other ebay accounts "at work" doing the same thing. Unless buyers file small claims court suits against you or press charges against you, you are "home free" and ready to scam again.
Bottom line - I would never buy a high priced card from a guy such as this. I checked out about twenty more of his feedback buyers at random - didn't find anything over ten bucks and most were around $3 - $4. I'm avoiding buying from this seller obviously. What anybody else chooses to do is up to them.
I don't know this guy or what he was going for on his offer, but years ago I had a pal whose father owned several apartment buildings. He was changing out all the refrigerators in one of them and put an ad in the paper saying he was giving away free refrigerators and all you had to do was come pick it up. Not one taker. Then a month later he ran an ad saying he had used refrigerators for only $ 25, and he sold every one of them.
I also remember traveling with a fellow employee once who tryied to make a point by offering people a $ 10 bill in an airport gate area. No one would take it. ( And, no, I am not saying I think this guy was legit)
That's because people, generally speaking, are savvy enough to realize Mr. Juicygladhands likely had ulterior motives behind his MOST GENEROUS offer, right Mr. v*i-juicyman?
I am still wondering who his buddy is here on the boards who alerted him to the thread, must be hiding in the coin forums with his tail between his legs now.
After reading his immature comments on net54 I don't need to hear the whole story or read this whole thread. Your word is good enough for me.
Jason,
Add me to your block bidder list. This is the troll or newbie that was coaxed to make his comments on net54. I've been a member here for some time and enjoyed the newbie status you have given me. But.....wrong answer.....
I think that he probably would have sent out the "free vintage card" but it would have been merely to spite the OP. I would have no part in this idiotic game that Jason was trying to perpetuate.
If it had been a free T-206 Plank, I would have accepted the free card, said "thank you," and moved on!!

I didn't see the thread over there, if somebody has the link I could use a good laugh. What's funny also is that a few of the most prolific posters over there were booted off the CU forum. LOL
I too have done business with you. I think I sold you some Fleischman's a few years back. Ignore WinPitcher because he is a complete idiot who rambles on. He and a few others started a thread on the CU forum about me and acted like complete juveniles. We all know he is more than likely making this up. We appreciate your consistancy and input here on this forum. I have dealt with a few here like Ted and he is a true class act. I love to read posts from guys like him and other hobby icons that have the knowledge and experience I seek in collecting. Leon, Keep an eye out for WINPITCHER and his ring of bandits. This forum is way to classy to allow their garbage in. They can keep it on the CU forum. Anyway......Kit, Welcome aboard and I will be looking forward to reading some future posts.
