Finally, something I can agree with you on!

You've been posting on these boards for what, like a month at most, and already you've drawn the ire of many more than just the few of us who have posted on this one thread.

Methinks you doth protest too much!

But then again, I know your kind, the ignorant blowhard who likes to stoke the flames, like another guy who used to post here and who got banned, but you & I both know all bout that, too, huh? image >>

The "ire of many" if they are like you, I'm proud to have their "ire" and wear it with pride. You've done nothing but lie in this thread and the previous one where you and your idiotic imbecilic sheep gangbanged me--I easily disproved your lies, and that sent you raging harder. The "pack" mentality is truly something to behold. It's what empowered Hitler and Stalin and the other monsters in history. But like a good American, you haven't learned a thing. I'm sorry your life was so hard and miserable it made you such a butt-kissing follower, but don't you dare try to use that as a bargaining chip with me. I don't want any of you to rub off on me. If this hurts your feelings, too bad. Think about how you treat others--and without your braindead gang to back your idiotic lies and aspersions, you're nothing. Hell, you're nothing WITH them. Imagine what you are without. Pathetic.

It's time the trash was taken out on this board, and I'm the garbage man. Free yourself from your lies now, or suffer the consequences.

Hey Sanford, stop it, you're too funny! Free at last, free at last!! image

Ivory just called: They need their soapbox back! You really are dumber than even I envisioned.

    LOL.

    Beautiful. Keep the gems coming.

Longetivity means jack--by the way, I don't care how long you've been here, it earns you nothing. Zero. Treat others with respect. Be a man. You weren't raised right, that much is obvious. But I've been around the scene and the boards since '99--this is one of many. Already a couple former scammers I busted have turned up here as "regulars". You people don't know what you're doing.

Hey Basestealer, you puss...enough of the PMs. Keep it on the boards because I have no personal business with you.
  • I'll do what I want, liar. Tell your lies to people who want to read them. Try their PMs.
  • yankeeno7yankeeno7 Posts: 9,248 ✭✭✭
No need to lie so send your PMs to someone who wants and appreciates them.
  • Goodnight. When you look yourself in the mirror tomorrow, feel the same way you did since the last time you sold your integrity out the window for instant gratification on an internet message board. You know life is all there is for you--god won't forgive.
  • yankeeno7yankeeno7 Posts: 9,248 ✭✭✭
Interesting you say that...and then involve God when I have the proof you lied. Get a little flush in the face when shown you have done the ultimate message board childish and cowardly act? Be humble and regain what little integrity you still may be holding on to.
  • The ultimate message board childish act is to private message someone to resolve issues? You fruitcake. You're retarded, there is no other explanation. Please bring back the posse to pile on top--you're a failure by yourself.
  • Or just admit you're a suspended ebay shiller, that you and I both know you are. Be brave. I don't have time for reincarnated crooks. Admit it and be done with it--don't talk to me.
  • yankeeno7yankeeno7 Posts: 9,248 ✭✭✭
I dont see anything in your message to resolve any issue, only to harrass. Well, at least you admitted to your lie. It was easy making you bury yourself. Your worth has been shown.....to be nothing! Congrats!

    Good for you.

  • << <i>I admire his loyalty. He has no interest to play anywhere else so he is going to do whatever it takes to make the Yankees.

I think he could have just as easily been hired on another team, but he chose a tougher route, but an admirable one. If he doesn't make the team, no problem, at least he tried and he is a Yankee forever. He will be a young man still with the world wide open. >>

I feel that, especially after he stepped it up for the Yankees last season, he deserves ANY and ALL chances. He was so instrumental to the Series wins. I do think that he'll be back with the Yankees, in the majors. Yeah, he can't catch up to a lot of the heat anymore. He owns more than a few post-season records, offensively. He can fill in any position in the outfield, with respectability. In 16 seasons, he's a lifetime .297 hitter and he averages 98 RBI per season. He also averaged 83 walks per season. He's a multiple gold glove winning CF, and he was Top 5 in Batting Average 4 times, including 3 seasons in a row. He's earned in my opinion a Plaque in Monument Park. He should be able to leave on his own terms.

If Bernie has something left to contribute and it's recognized then more power to him for making a run. There were teams interested in him but Bernie has no interest in being anything other than a Yankee. Obviously, there are people in baseball who feel he still has something to offer.

    Good luck Bernie!

  • << <i>Let he who is not worthless, or a self proclaimed Ebay vigiliante cast the first stone. >>

Good, you found the google archives of a cyberstalker's harassment board, along with all 5 of his sock puppets (alias accounts), who was globally banned and forced to shut down his harassment operations. LOL, if you only had the first clue about the authenticity of the crap you google, you'd be apologizing to me right now. That cyberstalker was also canned from ebay for auction interference. But don't let the facts bother you--just use 4 year old harassment sites remnants to embarass your posting foes when you can't win by any other means. You are a monster.
  • There were teams interested in bernie williams? Any facts to back this up, or are you speaking out of turn?

Look, Bernie's had a very nice career (nowhere near a HoFer, though), and it's painfully obvious to anyone with a functioning brain that he should retire. He knows in his heart that the yankees would never not re-sign him, and he's using that to his advantage. Anyone who doesn't see this is clearly a yankee homer.

He signs a minor league deal, that kills the development of someone who actually can HELP the club - not hurt it like he's going to do. The very best thing he can do is hang em up.

Please don't give me this 'oh his heart's still in the game!' crap. Just because you want to play, doesn't mean you should or you can. It's not 'heart' or 'desire' keeping him playing, it's greed - pure and simple.
  • yankeeno7yankeeno7 Posts: 9,248 ✭✭✭
Doesnt take a rocket scientist to listen to ESPN or check out FoxSports online or many other dependable online sources...Im not going to do your homework for you but Phillies and Cubs are still waiting to see if Bernie will decide to go for he minor league tryout or if he will refuse that invitation or sign with someone else.

Earlier, the Diamondbacks and Mets were other teams discussing Bernie Williams.

and LMAO @ speaking out of turn when you certainly have no idea what you are talking about!

I just dont see what is "greedy" about it. Think he is going to take a minor league spot from triple A kid who can't hit a curveball? Certainly cant be talking about his league minimum salary.

Again, it's not just fans wanting to see Bernie push his playing days to the limits....there are real baseball businessmen who feel he still has something good to offer.
  • Why hasn't there been any talk of prepping Bernie for a manager or a coach position after his playing career is over? I don't think Bernie is motivated by greed simply because if he does get a spot in the roster, he'll likely be earning the league minimum 500K, like Sosa. He could make more than that if he got a sponsorship deal or a manager position. Or even did announcing, if that's what he wants. If they are going to prep him for these jobs, they need to do so during his last playing year, IMO.

Not hating, but it's pathetic for a washed up has been to continue to eat up a roster spot out of pure greed. He should be a man, a real team player, and retire already. He's keeping a roster spot off a minor league team from a player who can help the team - are you guys so desperate for a world series title that you won't let a guy go who won your team some? He's a lifetime .297 hitter, his defense in the outfield is still good(as he showed in by stepping up when Matsui and Sheffield went down during the majority of last season, also Melky Cabrera showed his pinstripes by putting up a very nice season. Later Bobby Abreu came in to further bolster the outfield lineup for the future, as Sheffield has been traded), he gets on base, and he's a proven winner. Having Bernie is a great insurance plan. Melky will have the main duties of playing the outfield when the main starters are resting throughout the season. But if another injury bug hits(as seen last season with for a time Johnny Damon, Hideki Matsui, and Gary Sheffield were all beat up) Bernie will be there again to step up and fill any role that's needed. Thats me being honest on why I want Bernie back.

I've always liked Bernie, but I think his time has come. A great player (not a HOFer), but he just doesn't have it anymore. I admire his desire to sign with his team and respect the Yankees for giving him the option, but I think it is time for him to call it a career before he hangs around too long.

You will never hear an actual Yankees fan EVER claim that at anytime during Bernies' career that he had an "arm". He never did, that was the main arguement of his detractors. He played all 3 outfield positions last season and had a .996 Fielding %(Only 1 error on the season) and he hit .281 in 131 games. How about you back up your smack talk with some stats?

Bernie is not hurting anyone by signing a minor league contract. The Yankees just did not have room for him and the best was offering a minor league spot as an insurance in case some injuries happen. This was a wise move by the Yankees because they know the fans love him and at the same the Yankees can field the best team possible whether Bernie is included or not.

This is a mutually good set up. Bernie is an awesome insurance policy because he will know immediately what to do when called at the last minute. He is no stranger to the team, so its nice to have a smart veteran player available.
