Box #9 was the jackpot so far - still not a single Then & Now in my case so far, but ink! Ryan Howard, and it's a beauty - if I had any IT ability I'd post a scan...

Yeah Kevin, I was pretty surprised to pull it - looks like it's bringing some nice dough on eBay ($300), but I'm not sure if I'll hang on to it - if I decide to part with it, I'd certainly offer it up to this group before the savages on eBay...
I am picking up a retail case tomorrow morning at 9 AM. Friday night I have some stuff to do and then between feeding the baby and changing his diapers it is RIP city Saturday
I may pass on retail. I ordered three hobby boxes from blowout for $170 total.

I have purchased from 2 different Walmarts in my neck of the woods. The Target did not have any on the shelves as of last evening. My wife just left to go to Target to do some shopping and she is going to call me if they have them.
My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
BTW, I have completed 1 base set so far and I only need 8 more base cards to finish off my second basic set: 34, 165, 278, 286, 314, 327, 403 and 444. If anyone needs base cards and would like to trade please let me know.
I will need to do a lot of trading to finish just 1 master set. I am getting my trade list together and hope to have it posted later tonight.

Any excuse to drive to Maine is a great excuse. Even this time of year! Dave, if I drive up with a case are you going to deliver a bunch of fresh lobster in the summer?
Finally finished opening my case - it was strange - not a single Then & Now card in the 12 boxes. Best pull (far and away) was the Ryan Howard auto, next best was a David Wright refractor. Howard was the only ink, and no black refractors. Here's what I NEED:

How do you guys store your Chrome sets? Do you put them in top-loaders seperately or in binders? They tend to curl but they look better in binders IMO (and much easier to look at)

John, I used to store my chrome sets in a "550 wide" box. This box was the perfect size for 110 cards that were top loaded. They stopped carrying the boxes at my local hobby shop and I never could find any online, so I just store them (all top loaded) in a 3 row monster box that is the size for top loads. That way all of my relics can go in there as well.

I used to store my chrome sets in a "550 wide" box. This box was the perfect size for 110 cards that were top loaded. They stopped carrying the boxes at my local hobby shop and I never could find any online, so I just store them (all top loaded) in a 3 row monster box that is the size for top loads. That way all of my relics can go in there as well.
THanks!
Travis
