How often do you check ebay for something you might be interested in?

At least once or twice a day for me. Once a week would probably do just as well since most auctions are for 7 days but the
curiousity factor gets me to see what is the latest listings

I have ebay set to notify me when something is listed that I am interested in. I get a couple of e-mails a week from them.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

A few times per week but it's been quite some time since I've bid on anything significant.

I check about twice a week nowadays. Usually on Saturday & Sunday to see what's ending.

I used to be a dog on there, checking everyday and sometimes twice a day if I got bored. Right now, I have to save money for college, but I do have my eye on a few things.

I check occationally what is there only if someone says to check this out. Other than that, I've never used ebay for anything. After many previous hours of verifying prices on ebay, I find I can find the same items around here for far less. If you live in the Chicago area there is basically nothing you can not find faster, easier, cheaper. Also, many, many items that can not be listed on ebay are easily available around here although maybe they shouldn't.
Coins are a great example with at least 3 coin shows a month within 12 miles of my house. And oh so many flea markets, hobby stores, coin stores, department stores, etc. with coin dealers.
If it's on ebay, there are more around here.

Usually about once a day. Even though once every 3-5 days is probably sufficient in most cases, I want to be one of the first to see a fairly compelling BIN if it comes up.
  • Since joining the CU forums I have discovered so many great dealers/sellers that I hardly have any funds left for ebay purchases. I use ebay mainly for selling and tracking items that I wish to sell.

  • If I'm online, an Ebay window is open. I look at every 1921 Morgan and every Bust Half. Now I'm trying to figure out how to fit Australian Kangaroos into the schedule.

At least every other day. Sometimes every day. There's so many things I look for it would be an e-mail nightmare if I had eBay notify me about everything I might be interested in.

Anymore, once a week or so for buying... at most. Too poor right now to cruise by more often, or I'd end up conning myself into bidding on something anyway image
  • I check WWII militaria about once a week. I check exonumia about once a day. I look at colonials all the time. And I occasionly check out deals on oil paintings and photography. I find some good books on boring days.

Two or three years ago, I spent about a half hour looking for coins that interested me. All I saw were coins in which I had no interest whatsoever. I haven't been back there since, nor do I intend to ever go back there again.
