thanx, you should see all the scars i have on my hands from stiches from making kinves and punching guns lol im held together with screws, staples, and stiches
i like to engrave things, ive pretty well got it down to a art after 20 years or so-but i bleed like a hog alot thoughout the process because i take blood thinners thelast pic sucks- it flashed, clouds came out, whole thing was taken apart and angraved ,now for some new grips and it will be sweet-those black ones on it suck grips are easy though comared to the gun anyways
Great work Rube. I used to carry a S&W 6906. That one looks a little short to me. It's been a few years though. I think I still have a 30 rd mag for mine.

thanx arch- i think ill carry this one for a while instead of my 45, got a 1 1/2 foot long smith and wesson 357 i might do next, be a year to get it done at the least though-its big and bad-like dirty harrys gun
Those Dirty Harry Smiths were the cat's backside years ago. I still have a .41 mag with an 8 3/8 barrell. I love them.

Wow, that is a cool little S/W 9 mili I love the work you do with the designs , I was also looking quite a few pages back at your knives , being you mentioned them in your post and i haven't been on for a while , that is really some incredible work .
I really like the uniform , I think it was from 1904 if I can remember correctly ?
perfect condition indeed .
You have a regular museum over there Randy ! You could actually charge admission and make a fortune I bet .
Good game tonight , well, this am , I think we got off around 4 am and I got werk in an hour , so I'm signing off
I'll see you guys tomorrow in the woods , I got a new surpressor It hides the muzzle flash and naturally , the sound so I can snipe and not get spotted with my white camo's but only if I have no vest or helmet
Are you saying you have a big mouthed twin brother?
Nice photo Goot.

In case anyone forgot that Rube is a cool cat, I'm posting a pic of my 6906, so everyone can see how they start life.
This one is mine. It is pretty stock except for the grips.
This is Randy's after some alone time in the Rubecave with a couple of other pieces of steel.

I don't think I've ever shared anything here before, so I figured I'd share a picture of my blue-eyed dog Bigzby. He has crystal blue eyes, almost white, but his vision is perfectly fine. (please ignore the multiple cables in the background...I have a lot of electronics hooked up currently)
He's one of three mutts I have...Gizmo, Fozzie Bear, and Bigzby. I'll try to find a picture of the three together. In a bit.
<< <i>That puppy is so cute! Bigsby reminds me of Clayton Bigsby by Dave Chapelle LOL. >>
<< <i>Ross is your dog name after Clayton Bigsby? lol >>
Haha, you two were on the same thought wave there...ya know, I never thought about that, but I wish I could say that were the case. I love that skit. He was a big puppy, as compaired to his littermates anyway. He weighs in at a whopping 9 lbs as an adult. That coupled with the way he walks, chest high, with a very long and proud stride...I don't know, he reminded me of some aristocratic Brit...and Bigzby sounds snobby and reflective of his personality.
First, Gizmo Wiki...he can walk on his hind legs and sits on his haunches...amazing balance as he can do these things on just about any surface. He is typically following behind me on his hind limbs, esp. when I go to the kitchen...I think he thinks he's a little person.
Next, Fozzie Bear Wiket...he looks like a cross between the muppet and the little guy from Star Wars...his bottom lip is pouty and pooches out and he has a snaggle tooth. Very high energy.
Actually I didn't have a vacation this summer, but this was fun. This is less than 1/4 of almost 40 acres. I know the midwest guys drive by this much corn going to the store, but it is as much as I have done. Next year will be better.
