NO.... but it made my mind freak on how much a half dime would have been worth in 1831?
Family, kids, coins, sports (playing not watching), jet skiing, wakeboarding, Big Air....no one ever got hurt in the air....its the sudden stop that hurts. I hate Hurricane Sandy. I hate FEMA and i hate the blasted insurance companies.

I bet you can get more "action" for a nice shiney new half dime today than you could in 1831!

While in the bedroom I reached in my pocket for my Pocket Piece which happens to be a very worn widget with my other hand I reached for my heavy duty buffer, about that time my wife walks in and..............................................................sorry where was I.

I nominate this for the most bizarre coin-related thread topic of the month.

    And you'll notice I didn't answer image

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

    Hey now!
I'm just saying, there might have been a time or two you wanted to "slow down" some, so you let your mind wander to, say, an Ike dollar or a SBA. Come on, that imagine should buy you an extra five minutes or so!

It's all about pleasing your spouse and sometimes we go to desperate measures. True?

Which brings up another point. Have you ever been in that delicate position of knowing the coin you want to snipe is just moments away from ending and you're nowhere close to, how shall I phrase this. .. not?

I'll second that, but I must admit the 1995 Special Olympics commem dollar has crossed my mind a time or two. image

Edited to add: I know it's been discussed before, but that has to be the most unattractive and most unflattering obverse ever produced.

Braddick, I am just wondering if you have had thoughts about your wife while sharing intimate moments with your coins image

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    Define "intimate moments".

If that involves taking them out of a Dansco and placing them back into the Dansco and taking them out of the Dansco. . .

    Well...

If I add more this Thread is likely to end up in the Open Forum. image

does calling her a TWO BIT image count as mixing intimacy with Numismatics ?
I tried being really romantic and called her a quarter hoarder the next time image

LOL... I am just kidding.... this thread is really odd, actually.
  • the thought of an SBA or an IKE at that time may cause erectile dysfunction !

not to mention what the Eunice Shriver image would do to a guy, that would require smoe serious therapy !

Sounds like someone got busted for shouting out Auntie Eunice's name at the Wrong Time™ image and is out to prove to his wife that he's not alone.

If the SBA or the Eunice Shriver coin comes to mind when "sharing an intimate moment," it's time for a change in scenery.
