For the second time in a month a buyer was somehow able to "purchase" one of my buy it now listings without paying immediately. At first I though I had made a mistake and forgot to check the "require immediate payment" box, but that's not the case.

I have no idea how Ebay lets this happen. When I purchase a buy it now, I am taken directly to the payment screen. The first "buyer" ignored all of my payment requests, then emailed me a few weeks later apologizing, saying he thought the payment had gone through.

Not saying this is the case here, but if the buyer uses the Best Offer feature, they don't have to pay right away, even if you have an auto-accept price set up.

so now on the app, i enter a player name now and it takes me to hats, balls, tshirts, bats, bobbleheads and stuff like that. i have to switch to sports cards, memorabilia etc.

then on top of that, when i scroll to a second picture and try to enlarge it for a better look, it takes you to another unnecessary page w a smaller side by side front and back page. and then you have to hit the back scan again to finally get to the blown up version. so stupid.

This doesn't just "annoy" me.....it pizzes me off!

When there's an auction for an item that I REALLY WANT!; I check on it oh about 30 minutes before it ends, and then get into something else; and get so wrapped up in it, that I forget about the ebay auction. When I remember the auction and go back to it, I find that it ended less than 5 minutes ago, and went for a price that was lower than I would've paid.

This just happened to me twice in the last couple hours!

    $#*&!!!!!

I know the feeling. Just happened to me today, though for a video game and not a card. I have a loose manual for the "NBA Jam T.E". game for the Sega Saturn, and a seller listed a disc and back case art - exactly what I need to make a complete game. Unfortunately my work got busy right at the time the auction ended and I missed out. High bid was only $6.50 - I would have had an amazing deal since it's a $50+ game complete. The odds are astronomical that I'll see that specific combination for sale again.

not sure if this helps you gents, but i have my ebay 15 min notification set up and a 12.5 minute stopwatch timer set up on the iphone main screen (still rocking a 6s). i just tap that when the ebay notification dings. gives me 2 and half minutes to watch the auction ending. been there too many times. lost faith in myself to not get sidetracked and in snipe services after a few heartbreaking glitches.

Someone please start a thread of lame excuses sellers give for canceling orders after they get a better offer through messages. I can add a story or two a day. I promise not to disappoint.

Lately all the required fields that need to be filled out are driving me right up a wall. This isn't just for cards, but in the situation I just went through really set me off because I had hours invested into lost inventory.

I had a few hundred raw cards listed and they switched up their format from "Graded/Not Graded." It's pretty obvious if a card is in a slab or not. I didn't update that in the description details and a ton of those cards got pulled. That's a lot of time and effort to go through an fix all of those. They were compeletely removed from the "unsold" area. Now I have no idea what cards in my inventory are still listed and which ones aren't so either I sort through them and relist or just pull them all. In conclusion, COMC here I come.

Recently had a seller offer me a solid discount on a high dollar card I was watching. I immediately accepted the offer, and as all buyers should do, paid immediately. After payment the seller messaged me not to pay saying he had already sold the card, but had a BGS available. It took me four weeks to get my refund from eBay. In the meantime I had an extra $2k on my credit card and was coming up on the end of my cycle. I never have interest on my card, but because of that window closing it became pretty close to having to deal with another hoop. Ope.

I paid 600 for a card yesterday. This morning they marked shipped and refunded. "Notes from dkcmick
i am so sorry it rained last night and my window was opened card got all wet omg im so this is awefull "

Best part is about 2 minutes after refund, they relisted for sale. +1 Block bidder list. My list of scammers and idiots is still free just DM me. It is update 2-3 times a day :(

That's a new one with the window being open during a rain storm.
Check the sellers location, and a little research from the weather channel and see if it adds up.

Why bother? If he relisted it two minutes after the refund he's clearly scamming someone. Maybe more than one person.
