I just got my acceptance today! Right now, it's my number 1 choice, but I've got a few other places to visit first. Anyway, it's one hell of an exciting day for me!!!
To make this not off topic:
1- One of the short answers was to write about what you do to relax. Here's what I wrote:
"The thought of going back in time has always fascinated me. While I have not found a time machine, I have uncovered a way to experience the past. Collecting coins since third grade, I have always loved worn-out pieces from the 17 and 1800s. Who held this penny? What did it buy him? With the stress of school and work, I find it all the more pleasurable to be able to sit back and hold that farthing from 1754, the corroded cent from 1798, or the half dollar from 1827 and just imagine..."
2- The mascot of MIT is the beaver... post your Albany commems!

Congratulations! My "little" brother graduated in the MIT class of 1982. I always enjoyed my visits with him up in Cambridge. It's a great place to go to school.

I saw a show about MIT on PBS. The students had to build robots to lift a balance beam higher than their opponet. It was a cool class and it showed how MIT teaches. They seem to have creative projects and smaller class sizes. That is a far cry from my college experience at OSU. You are just a number there.
