I just wanted to give a big applause to a fellow board member and really cool dealer, Michael Dixon.
I'm whittling down my want list of various coins (2-cent and 3-cent pieces) and one of the toughies is the 1872 2-cent piece (actually showing a weak "WE" which is tough to find in Fine condition normally advertised). I saw that Michael had one raw (in Fine) on his web site for a little while and decided to call him about it. I'm always wary of these coins because they tend to be overgraded or have problems or just be downright ugly. Well, to make a long story short, I bought it (and I might add, I happily paid full retail which I rarely do for my recent acquisitions). The cool part? He's the first dealer ever to allow me to buy a coin on account and I never did business with him before! What was even cooler is that he sent it last Saturday and I received it on Monday....ONE business day!
Michael...you won me over. Thanks!!!!
