He has a nice collection but it is not even close to one of the top. There is also no way he has 2 mill into it nor is it worth anything near 2 mill. If he did actually pay 2 mill for what he has listed he got taken. >>

It's pretty obvious that Koby honey knows little about coins.Actually I have over 2 big ones in coins alone on the two registrys NOT even including cards. I paid hardly anything for my cards just like "Chip" aka Michael had mentioned a few weeks ago. His mistake however was stating I acquired them in the 70's not the 80's so they even cost much less than he proposed. Koby honey, not sure why you follw me around like a little puppy and want to start more bologna but if you spent the time finding a second job you could afford a few more cards for your tiny collection. Maybe i should tally up the hundreds of SGC graded cards so you guys have something else to pretend to condescend on. Notice this new round of fun was started by a clown who warships rapists. That in itself tells you about integrity and intention. I'd have a blast meeting this little group at a National dinner or something like that but after koby got done trying to calulate the tip on his Casio calculator watch,I would have to pay the bill. I love you Koby. it's little fellas like you that make me laugh.Enjoy your Christmas and your New Years.

Why the hostility? Here I am defending you when everyone else is LAUGHING at you.

I have no doubt that you have a TWO MILLION dollar card collection. Good luck to you in your collecting and weightlifting endeavors. image
  • Marz, a few questions....

    1. what kind of drugs do you take?
    2. where can i get some?

    thanks dude
  • Koby sweetie, your feeble attempt to rouse up the troups is week. And I really cannot care enough about you to express hostility so your thinking you "zinged' a point or two is as demented as your posts. if I had the time I might post photos of stuff you'll never be able to afford because you spend much of your time thinking of high school level methods of being a pest. Just a guess you do not have children and being as I have a house full I seriously doubt anyone questions my sexuality. It is hilarious to me how you go off if I even hint of anything about money. You must have some real covetous issues with it.No doubt why you do not have much. I need to go tuck a pair of twin five year olds in now so we will see you latter little fella. Like I stated maybe if you can afford to come to a national convention you can look me up. Bring your wife and kids so I can see how responsible and successful you are! here is tip for you.If you want to play you may want to study up on NLP. It is very effective.Spend some time investigating it and you won't have to work so hard at your task.

    marz,

are you going to the next National?

I actually think you would be quite the character at the PSA dinner after a couple of beers.

and please dont get offended, even though you do talk a lot of smack and you come off like the biggest pompus A$$, you definetly know your cards and i guess that does count for a lot around these woods.

no offense taken. yes, I can be a lot of fun when I cut loose which is rare. You see not like Koby who camps on Kiss.com and Singlegeekslooking4love.net ,I'm married and have a house full of children...................but yes,I would enjoy the fun and sharing cards et. I only come off the way these guys want me to. Koby, having no clue what marriage and the responsibility of family life is like,(Chip too and a few others I might add),think the digs are actually emotion causing.I laugh at most of this stuff and write exactly what brings them jollies. hey, believe it or not I was voted funniest senior in high school.................but that was before Koby got his first 72 Topps in a 7 holder of a common that made his week. he had his 12 minutes of fame bringing it to home economics instead of home room. Meeting him would be fun. I can't imagine the hardy chuckles I would get while puking some nachos cheese flavored Guiness on his cheeks! LOL* I love you Koby. You give me a reason not to do an ab workout tonight. The laughing worked them enough not to bother. let me know if you got your money worth out of the cheap shot yet or PM me and let me know when you need me to respond to make you feel you got your value out of posting. Anyway, yes, I have been to about eight of the Nationals. of course they used to be good for treasure hunting but now they are retail sellers markets. I think people store up cards all year to sell them there.it used to be the place to go buy. Koby will go to talk about me,his heroe being as his card collection is not getting him dates.even with young women who collect cards.

Tempura, are you familiar with the coin market and coin values? I have some top notch gold pieces with pos of 10-15 which in coins is like nothing. The territorial collection I have did not "take me" believe me. I will net 1000% or more on most of the certed coins I have as like cards the market has exploded on good material over the past few years.

  • Kobes, you there? you asleep little buddy? Alone .....................again? I hope! I had a nightmare tdreaming a pencil neck like you wanted to propose to my 17 year old ! You told her you were going to sell some high powered cards so you could afford to buy her a 1/16th carat diamond that was only as clear as the surface of the moon! I had to get up and take a peak and make sure she remembered to check the tax returns of her suiters. I suspect you won't make the cut. Then I had a dream we went to the gym together and I spotted you on a free bar bench. You were working real hard to put up 125 when I got distracted hearing "funky town" over the loud speaker and dropped the Olympic bar on your nose.

good night bro! eat your Cherrios. There is still time for you to grow.

I don't know marz or his collection, he may have spent $2 million on it for all I know. I would just observe that if Marshall Fogel or Don Louchios were to take time away from earning and managing their millions to come here for a d*ck-swinging contest, I would be shocked.

    Shocked, I say! image

People who spend millions on cards and coins should have their own forum. With wine and brie and butlers. Heck, I might apply for butler just so I can see their collections and hear what super-rich collectors talk about.

Let me clue you in on something. EVERYONE who owns a home in California is "super-rich" if you think 2 million dollars meets that standard. JUNK houses here cost $600,000 and a NON-tract home starts at $800k. it's ridiculous but so is the income of people who can afford them, children and auto insurance. Anyone on here who lives in California pays giant taxes and here in San Francisco,$2.35 per gallon for premium gas. Having a million dollars would not get you all that far.

    Marz-
Got any E94 overprints? How tough are they? Are any other E sets subject to them? Oppie Dildocks, Old Put, etc
From what I understand Mello Mints were folded in half long ways to put them in the package. Since it was how they were issued does PSA downgrade for this crease, and do they consider this factor consistantly?

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

  • << <i>Marz-
    Got any E94 overprints?

Anthony, yes I have two dups of the most common variations if interested. They are tuff. I would guess 75 known of all total variations.

How tough are they? Are any other E sets subject to them?

No-but the "Old Puts" are not E94's. They are E-98 overprints and i think much tougher* I have seen three. Scott Elkins has a Cobb and there is a common and I have a John McGraw that is in Ex/mt-. They are very hard to find.

Happy New Year- you have more quality cards than anyone I know in such a short time of collecting* good work~

The mello mints being folded is debatable. However, many are and PSA will not grade them above VG which is correct. Any Mello Mint in EX or better is very tough. Not only are they super thin but diamond cut and on poor quality paper. Call me-you have my number** i will help you if I can. same with JEB. I will help him with info and some card sources I think he would want.

but "Dude" the best card I have is a PSA M. Jordon card bound to decline yearly in value due to the 800,000 of them printed and piles of unopened boxes a few dealers still have!

" What would you say is your most valuable card? Can we get a scan " A brilliant subsequent quote from a youngin who does not know how to do due dilligence in his research. All you need to do is go look over the SGC/PSA registrys and you'll find what you are looking for. No doubt you already attempted to add up by the penny the visible part of my collection as ammo for some condescending and sanctimoneous comment.

Koby,is an 86 Jordon in an 8 holder really your prize possession? The job offer is still there for you. There is a 2 to 1 ratio of women to men in Vegas................growing pains of life await you. As long as you don't have a felony you can work there. ( You cannot and require a work permit to be employed in Vegas and cannot get one if you have a felony). Just in case it applies. otherwise, let me know,I'll hire you.

and this quote from you who cannot read or comprehend as I never stated i had 2mill in baseball cards I stated i had two million tied up on the registry. Apparently you know zip about coins~

Yes,but you want to correct my spelling while lacking in comprehension as I never stated it was in baseball cards and in fact made note of the 17 registered coin sets I have listed. You are so focused on your hypocrisy you can't think.

So you are saying that you have two million dollars between your baseball card and coin holdings?

NO Koby! I did NOT state that either. I stated that was the value of what I had "REGISTERED". I have plenty of cards that need to be graded still and yet more that I have not posted on various registrys. For example,I have maybe 600 cards in GIA holders and have not even looked at their site in months to see if the Registry is up for them yet. Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmm, maybe i'll pay one of my son's to post them.

I for one, perhaps a minority, DO enjoy this type of "debate / discussion".

Usually I don't reply , unless I think of something clever and almost related to the topic, but find these talks entertaining and sometimes card collecting related, with some information as a bonus. Some of us have thin skin, some of us take life a bit too serious, and some of us can't quite grasp the concept of sarcasm.

So what...this board is great fun, informative, helpfull, .... keep on posting.

You have many more raw cards and coins that are valued even more!!!!

I am nominating you for the PSA registry Hall of Fame for 2006. Fogel and Merkle have nothing on you. image >>

live each day like it's your last but don't count on it!
  • [q Kobes, I know your young, unmarried,do not own a home et. ( just thought I would remind you being as you don't care how much money I have maybe you DO care how much money YOu do not have!), anyway, I would answer any real question you have if you really wanted to know something from me. But you don't.I am your date when you come on here. You obviously have no family to care for so you have ME to play with! It's cool. I would still buy you a beer at the National. For me this is just a break and you are entertainment. We can discuss real cards and collectibles if you like. I have expertisein Plein air impressionistic paintings as well. Maybe you enjoy art! Really Kobe, nothing you write will bother me,I have children with pets and fish tanks to clean for that.(I don't have to take the garbage out any longer Thank God~). So it's all you. I really was wondering what state you live in and what type of job you have but you seem not to want to disclose this "holding" and just want to bash me. can't you be civil? It's easy for me.
