I didn't expect to be impressed since this date runs pretty good but that's a nice one.

I used to have one that was blast white with much cleaner surfaces! This one has a
better strike though.

No offense to NGC (I have nearly 100 of their slabs), but that Buffalo has a lousy strike for the date. The colors are nice (I won't yet go so far as to say AT...) and I'll bet the luster is blazing, but I'll take mine any day of the week.

We need to do a poll on everyones submission.

The colors do look "funny" on that one BUT the picture is odd. It's one of those photos that look like a painiting rather than a photo (that's the best way I can describe it). A number of top dealers have shots like that (Superior is one of them, Pinnicle (sometimes) and Bowers at one time) and it makes it very difficult to really see what the coin looks like. Given that I'm not sure what to think of that Ebay coin.....

I agree. I'm currently on the road, so I do not have access to my reference material for attribution purposes.

Beeman, you may want to investigate this one. If you bought it as a 38D and it is a D/S or D/D you got a good deal.

I'm pretty sure it's OMM-1. It's clearly a D/S.
