If yours isn't the nicest, this will make you feel better.........now you know yours isn't the worst. Typical POS that I dig up. I usually stick these in with any nickels I'm rolling up to deposit. Maybe I'll be able to convert enough of these into some moolah to buy a nice one.
A scary surprise coming to a bank near you:

Hmmm... I must admit, that coin looks virtually perfect. It doesn't have the great color many of the others have, but the strike and surfaces look as close to ideal as any business strike I've ever seen. The reverse strike is incredible! Why do you think it graded 67 as opposed to 68 (or above)?
Solid,
My God how I love the obverse toning on yours! The green crescent is BEAUTIFUL!
Thanks for the compliment on my 38-D Buffalo nickel. I haven't seen an MS68 in hand, so I wouldn't know what it would take to get a 68. Most of the MS68's I've seen in images have incredible toning in addition to a strong strike, so I guess it would be an eye-appeal factor involved. I purchased this one from Larry Whitlow, he had three and this one stood out. This one has just the slightest gold tone with very strong luster and an excellent strike.

I saw that one yesterday and thought now there is the King and it is a D/S Oh well I guess it was a good run while it lasted
