Too Good to be True??

Check out this auction below. He's selling 2 60's proof sets, a SMS, and Liberty proof $ and half $. The kicker is he is throwing in 3 Mexican gold coins which appear to be 2 peso coins (worth $25 each, if genuine).
The current bid is $30, 2 hours to go. The rub is the guy has one feedback. He takes Paypal though, and if you use your credit card, it might be worth the risk (i.e. you could put the charge in dispute if he stiffs you). I'm not in a gambing mood, but if some else is, I would be interesting to see if the guy delivers, and if the gold coins are the 2 peso coins they appear to be (and are genuine)

I'm in there, for a little over $35. I would imagine I'll get sniped, but if not, I'll let you know how it goes, and if I really get three Mexican gold 2-peso pieces, I'll kick in a small "finder's fee" for you.
I don't know if those are Dos Pesos like you are thinking. They may be those Maximillian medals I keep seeing all over the bay recently. I don't think there's actually very much gold in those, if that's the case.
Oh, BTW, I bid $36.65, but before any of you sneaky types snipe me, be aware I also put in a higher esnipe bid to go in at the end, just in case.
(When I bid, I hadn't noticed the commem set).
Could indeed be too good to be true, but we'll find out if I win.
Coinhusker1, I reckon you can't be the same person as CoinHusker from Omaha, 'cause he wears a custom icon of Chimney Rock that I made for him...
Edit: nope. This coinhusker's from CT.
<< <i>Doesn't that 62 quarter look to be cameo? I'm new here and don't want to offend but I think I will have to snipe too. >>
No. It looks artificially frosted, whizzed, and dipped. Go 'way.

It's truly funny, no make that truly sad, that people in this day and age are so wrapped up in their own little world that they refuse to try and teach someone else the correct or accepted way of doing things.

But if you're "jlacroix33", I have a different smiley-with-sign for you:
My gut instinct tells me this person is on the level, though. We'll see.
The guy looks legit to me. He has been registered for 7 months and has had one successful coin transaction. I think he is just a newbie.
<< <i>I'm not surprised I was shot down quickly. And since coinhusker1 happened to point it out here, I wouldn't be surprised if my esnipe bid falls short, too.

Yeah I'm Coinhusker from CT. We have an alumni group called "Connecticut Yankees for Nebraska"
Sorry you lost the snipe. I would have liked to see those gold coins.
<< <i>I was all set up for it (I won't give away my trade secrets ) >>
There are only a few ways to do itand we know all the tricks.

<< <i>I am jlacroix33 so I'll let you know if the coins do make it. Thanks for the welcome. >>
CardsFan, I saw on the auction feedback that you received the coins. Were the three gold coins Mexican 2 peso coins?
