How Many Coins in Your Collection are Slabbed as a % of Total?

At last count, I have 5 slabbed coins (soon to be 8) and 1,206 coins total = 0.41% of my coins are certified/slabbed. how bout you?

*if you're alergic to division and percentages or don't know your total coin count, how many slabs do you own? estimates?

I have no idea about what my total coin count is....

but if I had to guess, I'd say about 10% is slabbed.

I don't know the exact number of total coins I have probably over 200 but I have about 30 slabbed so maybe 15%.

The real question should be what % of your coins over a given value are slabbed.

I have many raw coins, but most are under $10. I would think around 70% of my coins over $25 are slabbed, and 100% of my coins over $100 are slabbed, but out of my total collection probably around 0.5-1.0% are slabbed.

I have probably 75 slabbed and maybe another 100 decent coins raw. I've been giving away some of the raw ones over time to pare down my collection some.

For coins valued at over a hundred dollars, that are slabbed, they make up 2% of my collection. But, then again, I break coins outta their slab, unless they are key-date wheaties.

About 20 or so that are slabbed and another 1-2K that are in 2x2s or albums. Way more if you count rolls.

Zero. The last slabbed coins I owned were sample slabs that found a new home at the ANA Summer Seminar auction.

I do, however, own a slabbed comic book -- a Donald Duck issue that was encapsulated to commemorate the 1913 Lib Nickel reunion at the Baltimore ANA.

Have about 450 slabbed, almost all are PCGS slabbed except for about 20 of them.
Remaining 5% are not worth getting slabbed but are keepers for the collection.

95% of my serious coins are slabbed. I have meny others not slabbed, but don't consider most of them part of my serious collection. (Example... I have many struck through nickels.... not worth $30 to slab)

Out of 200+ about 100 or 50%--I had all of my keeper Morgans graded by ANACS and have bought a number of CCs in PCGS slabs, my type set and bust halves are raw with one exception, an 1806 Draped bust that I thought was undergraded when I bought it as F12--came back a 20. All my darkside and ancients are also raw. The reason I had my Morgans slabbed is that they represent my biggest investment, for possible sale, and to help my heirs dispose of them some day.

Depends on how one defines "collection". Of my core collection, 100% are slabbed. But like many I have rolls and rolls of quarters lying around, and stacks of proof sets still in their government boxes. These are more of an accumulation (or dare I say... hoard) than a "collection".

456 coins... 97.4% certified.... of that 95% are PCGS and the rest are gradually being sent in for crossover.

Of the 12 raw coins 4 are currently at PCGS being graded, 4 are ready to go in, and 4 are pocket pieces that will go in when I get them in Fair/Poor territory.

Of the slabbed coins, maybe 50% are PCGS, 50% are ICCS, and 10% are NGC or ANACS. Ya, I know that adds up to 110%, but they are just guesses.

Well, if you consider the rolls and such I'd say about 10% of volume. But it's more like 90% of value.

Hmm...considering I have a hoard of around half a million cents, and out of that only around 15,000 are for my collection, the two slabbed coins I own are an insignificant percentage...probably something like 0.0001%

Man you all have a bunch of coins. My total is around 60 all PCGS. I've sold my raw and slabbed, purchased on a whim coins thru ebay. Down to my keepers.
