Long Beach....who's planning on going?

If I am not mistaken the Long Beach Ca. show is coming up next month. I have never attended a coin show before but will probably take off a day (or more) and check it out.
Even though I have been a member of this forum for almost a year now I have not been very active until this past week when for whatever reason the coin bug came out of remission. I don't know any of you beyond your posts, but I am truly impressed with the depth of knowledge represented here and would be honored to meet some of you if you are planning on heading to LB.

Keep me in mind as well ... not to far a shot for me and I haven't been to one in a while.
“We are only their care-takers,” he posed, “if we take good care of them, then centuries from now they may still be here … ”

I will be there, and usually attend all California shows. As Bear indicated, all interested can meet at the show-predetermined spot.
The one person you should try to visit with is Mark Feld, now an independent dealer and forum expert.
It will be intimidating at first, but you will love it before you have been there half a day.
Like launching a new ship.

U.S. Dimes Complete Set with Major Varieties, Circulation Strikes
I'll be there lurking as well.
I'm not a morning person so I'll be lucky if I leave the house by noon.

Maybe you should organize a lunch (Dutch treat)_for interested board members at Island Burgers, right across the street?
I will be helping Steve Elwood at his table also!

I remember we had a nice group a couple of years back and we all went to dinner after. The highlight though was when Jim Swan was kind enough to show us some coins he brought. If I remember some of the highlights like (all PCGS)
SL Half MS68
3 legged Buff MS65(or66)
1955 DD centMS66Rd
1839O Half MS64
and I lot more , all PQ that topped most all of the coins at the show. It was a great time
Now it would be nice if Mr. Swan would be kind enough to meet and share a few pieces of eye candy; but I don't know if he even posts on these boards anymore.
Anyway, see everyone there.
Mark
can you set up a lunch place for everybody ?

Too much work. Sorry. I might not even have time for lunch since I'll be there just one day.
