Wayne (and anyone else that likes to generalize): Glad I could make you smile! Since you are obviously refering to my post with the "propoganda", I wonder if you read the whole thread. Let me point out that it was John Kerry who was 1st attacked here. Sorry, but I can't sit quiet when someone calls a fellow Viet Nam Vet a "loser". Especially when that vet is carrying the weight of three purple hearts +! Maybe I went for the jugular with my reply, but with Viet Nam in my head it was my natural instint. Then, when I pose a legitimate question, I'm tagged as "stupidly insane" by some wolf who can't just give me a simple yes or no and resorts to name-calling in lieu of any facts. Now you are tryin' to lump me in with Dems. and Libs. who, by your generalizations, are one in the same. You don't know me well enough! Talk about a "Kool-Aid drinking" group! Please keep in mind the freedom the the Winged Liberty represents.
Too bad you are satisfied with Bush's Military record. I'd like to see his answers to these! Perhaps if you were a friend of Bill Burkett, you'd think differently!
You need help. Let's see, since someone called Kerry a loser and you are a vet so you are upset. Is every person who was in vietnam above the rest? Yes, a lot of great people didn't come home after this debacle. Many scum did come home. War isn't selective. Kerry is a loser and of the biggest kind. This has nothing to do with his service, but his record in the senate after his service. If being a vet makes you something above the rest, I suppose you should visit Oklahoma City and let them know that those lives really didn't matter.
If you want to vote for kerry and not for Bush, go for it. You can always learn to speak the language of the culture that runs this country in the future. Me, I will always fight for my freedom and I don't care where the people were born that want to take it away from me. (why California, New York and Massachusetts come to mind I do not know.)

A very good generalization!

Your opinion, and you have an inalienable right to it.

Very good insinuation! The RNC is lookin' for a few good insinuators!
If you went to places like Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan, and were a Christian or Jew, there's a good chance that if you got someone mad, you could get your head chopped off, or be stoned to death, or some other unpleasant thing, for being an infidel. Now that's what I call forcing one's religion on another.
Compare that to what we have here at home: a 4-word motto. On coins. Which I bet half the people in the country don't even notice. When they're told about it, they go like, Hey, I never saw that before. Not, I have been raped of my liberties. I doubt that when people get their change from Wendy's, they read their new coins, and break down into tears, having lost their religious freedom, because a coin said IGWT. Stop complaining. Think about what goes on in other places, like the Middle East or even France (no religious headwear in schools, I think, but am not definitely sure about that), and then compare it to our home-grown persecution.
Use dollar coins when you get them! Do you want to see them die out, too?

That shows how bad things can get in a country that does not value and defend its civil liberties. We should learn from their mistakes and diligently guard against any breach in our nation's commitment to individual liberty and freedom of religion. From that perspective, those who fight to remove the motto from our coinage are, certainly in most cases, patriots that deserve our respect and appreciation.

Funny how most seem to forget these commitments and think that we should be forced to accept what the majority thinks is "right"!

Exactly. Remember it says Liberty and Justice for All. ( Not just the majority )

Actually I don't give a rat's rear end one way or the other. In fact if religion or God or whatever was NEVER EVER mentioned on these boards again it wouldn't bother me in the least. Many people believe in God and that is their choice. Frankly, seeing IGWT on a coin doesn't sway me to one side or the other, basically one gets used to seeing it and never giving it a second thought so thats why I ask who cares.
