Recently I have been buying complete sets of Franklin Half Dollars to Cherry Pick the best coins to send to PCGS for grading.

I now have a complete set of coins in a Dansco Album that are just not quite nice enough to send in.

What to do with such a collection?

1. Send them to PCI for grading and sell them on eBay.

2. Sell the complete set Raw on eBay.

3. Sell them for “Melt” value.

4. Keep them for myself.

5. Give them to a Y.N. Collector to enjoy.

I say Give them to a Y.N. Collector to enjoy.

I would like to see a young collector get some enjoyment out of these coins.

To enter you must be 17 or younger. Simply post a reply to this thread. The winner will be determined by a random drawing.

All I ask is that if you are the winner please don’t turn around and sell this set right away. Enjoy it!

Sweet, what a giveaway, the only franklins i have bout 5-10 of em were left to me by my grandparents and they are more circulated then anything i have seen before. They would also make a great belated 14th birthday present (was b-day on jan 9)

I don't sign up for these giveaway very often but if I win it will be in this family for the next 2 generations my grandson is only 4 but he alway want to see that pretty girls coins (Lucy Franklin Halves). I try to show him the bust halves but he a Franklin man already. maybe its the bold spot like Dad and grampa.
