Good shoes, Trends, greysheets, my collection inventory book, magnification, a pocket full of dough, and pairs of good eyes and ears. I learn a lot from listening to others around me.

"Lenin is certainly right. There is no subtler or more severe means of overturning the existing basis of society(destroy capitalism) than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and it does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose."

Cash, checkbook, 3x/6x loupe, 10x loupe, 16x loupe, Greysheets, Cherrypicker's guide, want list, CW trends.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

A "day planner" type case that can hold what I buy and built in calculator. Inside of it:

    Checkbook
    10X loupe
    Want list
Trends price guides (only if there's something specific I'm after)

    And most importantly-

    Pens and a pad!

I have to bring a pad to write on because as I shop around I can never remember where the
tables are that I want to go back to!

The Holey Coin Vest, the Holey Gold Hat, and a pocketful of cash. I should bring a loupe but always seem to forget it (often to my regret, later...)

Conder - You forgot the 2 roadies you need to carry all that stuff. That is funny.

I bring - shoulder bag with... 5X loupe, 20X loupe for teeny stuff, greysheet, inventory list, want list, coins to show or sell.

Oh yeah, my inventory is on a Dell Axim PDA, along with pics of my best coins.

I always wondered about this but was afraid to ask, but I'll do it anyway. How many folks pack a weapon?
