When will the Space Force get a medal?
Not on the list:
The United States Armed Forces Silver Medals honor the five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces: the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and Navy. Each branch has a proud history and unique traditions in their service to our country. These medals are representative of the branch as a whole, not a specific unit, battle or action.
The U.S. Armed Forces Silver Medals are struck under 31 U.S.C. § 5111(a)(2), which gives the Secretary of the Treasury the authority to strike national medals. The program began in 2021.

I received my medal a couple days back at it is a very nicely done medal. The mint has kept there packaging very nice for these as well. They send these out in nicer packaging then there gold coins.
I got one too. The guy in the unboxing video couldn’t stand up the coin in the slot inside the clamshell case, but mine fits in with no problem. I think he just didn’t push it in right

So it’s going to be colorized? I don’t like coins that are colorized ☹️
That's just a picture of the Space Force official Seal - that was used in the story (Think stock photo).
As we've seen with the Coast Guard and Air Force medal - it appears the Mint can come up with any wild-azz design "they think" best signifies that particular Armed Force Branch. Although, at least on the back of the Coast Guard medal, the Mint did see fit to include the Coast Guard Seal. Not so on the Air Force Medal.
At this point, there could be an image of a SpaceX Falcon Heavy Rocket used on Space Force's coin...as they technically use SpaceX to launch Space Force satellites into orbit (similar to how the Air Force medal has a Lockheed Martin F-22 rendering on it).
Or maybe the Space Force could have a rendering of flying trashcans, flying around the earth with a ground station radar dish tracking the trash...as that is a mission of Space Force - to track space junk!
And of course, they'll throw on there the useless, "Core Values" sayings, just like they did with the Air Force and Coast Guard medals. BTW, I know the Coast Guard core values is something the grew out of "Corporate Feel-Good Speak" of the 1990's and the "core values" have no significant historical meaning within the Coast Guard.
According to the trick i learned to check available units, only 385 left of this medal. Really like the design, just don't have any real reason to get it.

If this was a coin it would have sold out in minutes.
Couldn't agree more. I think it is one of the best looking medals the Mint has ever produced. In fact, I think I will order another one or two before it sells out.

124 available. At this rate it will take several more weeks for a sell out.
At my rate of ordering one a week, I have another 124 weeks of purchases. I still believe the attractiveness and relatively low mintage will help to maintain the value of this medal. Obviously, I'm a fan.

Limit removed...snagged one more. I do like the design...Call it impulse buying.
Where have I heard that before?

Wow!!
I'm impressed...again, seeing as I could find no interest in these on any CG Blogs or other websites for Coasties.
Who the heck could be buying these? Is there a large enough group that collects these Military medals and is trying to complete a set?
Only 1,700+ left!

All that it would take, is a simple insert into some piece of legislation, to add the Space Force in.
This would be good for a Jr. Congress critter to get into law...that way they can say they did more than just get a post office named after someone!

Just arrived in the mail. Very satisfied with the quality... the medal appears flawless.
Very nice, @FreeThinker. Would you please post a pic of the reverse?
