Delaware, because I grew up there, and there are not that many Delaware numismatic collectables. Connecticut Hawaiian because it’s the hardest single issue commemorative half to find.
I really like NICE Lafayette Dollars when you can find them in MS-63, and I think the Isabella quarter is neat, but those pieces are disqualified because they are not half dollars.
My least favorite old commemorative half dollar is the Arkansas because I think it’s ugly. I don’t care for the Cincinnati either because it commemorated nothing buy greed.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
1. The Columbia, SC commem (Hometown for Meos1) 2. Oregon trail (Anyone ever noticed that the indian looks like the man on Camel Cigarettes?) 3. Califonia
Those comems are so addictive. I have been reading about each of them in the Redbook and several board members have posted additional info on the Columbia, SC Commem from a thread that I let go in BS&T by accident. Its so cool.

1. Oregon, same as just about everyone else, as American as the buffalo nickel 2. Texas, every time I look at mine I speculate about how, if things had gone just a little differently, that state would be a different country, "The Republic of Texas" 3. San Diego, a great design not to mention it's America's Finest City and my current residence.
Also like the Columbian, Pilgrim, Roanoke, Gettysburg, and several others for historical and artistic reasons.
Don't care much for the Cincinatti and a few other "dubious" issues.
the only modern commem i have is the 1987 constitution, and that was a gift.
