It's the bulk of the others gathering around with angry faces that I find hard to understand. Let's see, a really long time ago, Braddick visits a friend who is a coin doctor, and shares many tricks of the trade that he has learned. Now, that same doctor begins posting, Braddick admits he's a friend, and from there, we assume that Braddick is the coin doctor. Why? He was once ModMan.
I was ModMan too, big friggin' deal. There's another ModMan currently. That's 3 minimum. Next week, you might be ModMan. ModMan was a voice of reason. How many people bought $500 state quarters in MS-68 when they came out in 2000, only to see the prices drop below $100??? Guess ModMan was right in a couple of cases.
Never met Braddick in real life. Met Anaconda, and everyone flames him, but he's a nice guy. Maybe Braddick is too. I do know that I've exchanged hundreds of PM's with him, and that he seems like an OK guy. He's paid swiftly when I've sold him coins, and he's someone that I have sent expensive coins to on approval. Several guys have met him and say he's OK. I'll take their word for it.

So Braddick share and learn in the 30%, and as far as all of the BBS noise, since there is plenty of that already on this site - take a break from the 70%.

Really though - I have no idea what this nonsense is about, nor do I care to learn. Whatever it is/was, I am pretty sure it is unfortunate for those involved - and it is immature stupidity like this that makes me consider leaving this Forum.
Wow, ! ... what a thread. I lay back and watch and usually dont put my two cents in but this time I have to agree with one of the comments Braddick made. The coin thing is secondary, but - the people we meet and the crazy things that happen along with conversations and feedback is really amazing in this coin collecting thing...
I have met some really wonderful folks here and in the collecting world. Incidently, unless I am really after something these conversations have little to do with coins and usually turns out to be a great adventure in "Something" totally un-related. I never would have met such an interesting bunch of folks had I not been involved with coins.
Just this past week I got to converse back and forth by e-mail with Braddick. Started out about something I was a little perterbed at and ended up about kids, school, other good folks, where we live, our wives and just nice stuff. I will let Braddick tell the story if he likes.
Anyways, my comments are a lot about nothing, but these nothings, for me, have turned into many nice relationships that have helped me find - buy and sell the coins I am after.
Peoples business and livelyhoods are on the line and I had no right to mess with that. I shouldn't have posted what I did, plain and simple.
