So what do you think of this proposed war with Iraq?

I am tired of the grasshopper invasion and gophers eating my plants and trees! Those grasshoppers are smart critters. They are hard to catch because they WATCH YOU! I heard if you put them in the blender, strain and spray the juice around, then it wards them off, but they are just so hard to catch - maybe I will get a big net. I need to do that so I can freeze the juice and be ready for next year. Wonder if you can freeze the stuff. The gophers I guess we will just keep shooting when we can - But then there's the panther - don't know what to do about him. We also have a big owl that I think may be stalking my poodle.

Going back to that 09-S VDB or 1916-D Merc.seems to me 1000 bucks should be enough to buy a decent coin of each,nothing in MS but nice just the same.

I smashed my right middle and ring fingers today at work. I was not watching a co-worker who tends to forget about people on the other end of a load and my fingers ended up pinched between the load (steel highway railing) and the fork carriage on a fork truck.
I had fairly heavy leather gloves on or I would have really messed them up. As it is, the middle finger popped like a grape (I remember feeling it). The ring finger didn't bleed. It probably should have, since it is twice its normal size. However, it is a very interesting color. OUCH. this is no lie. Mark

I live in Mobile, AL, right were some of the worst weather from the tropical storm/hurricane is coming, and on the way to work today while driving on the interstate, hydroplaned, made a complete 360 all the way across 4 lanes of traffic and stopped just in time before I hit the barrier dividing the interstate. Cranked the truck back up and kept on going, man I got lucky. Every car stopped in time before hitting me, and there was an 18-wheeler right behind me. It sucks to see so many cars coming at you while your spinning out of control.
