Help grade this toned Bust Half please.

I am considering (bid is already in) purchasing this 1818 Bust Half, and just love the toning. It looks like it might be second toning, but some luster seems hidden around the stars. It's not a perfect strike, and there is some wear, there are a few pretty noticable bag marks. Any assistance would be appreciated.

It might be a no-grade at pcgs.
In case you didn't know it, you've been outbid.

I like it too but, based on what little I know, I'm concerned about cleaning. Judging by the scan, it certainly looks like it was at least dipped at some point and then re-toned. With a scan, though, it's not possible to tell if the cleaning was harsher then just a dip.

I was posting while you were linking, sorry. Yes, that's a nice original looking coin. Happy hunting.

Placid's AU 58 image appears to be an original coin & has more eye appeal
than the one on which you are bidding. Your 'question' coin appears to be dull, suggesting at least prior dipp(ing). It has retoned.
These coins are not well struck, and you really need to see whether there is wear on places like the clasp on the obverse (look for a luster break), or just a weak strike.
It looks in the AU 55 range to me, if for no other reason than the wear on the eagle's wing to the viewer's left on its reverse.
