This feedback was left for Jadecoins by a buyer using the handle of Earlycoins. Very interesting thread indeed!
"earlycoins (161) Jun-01-00 09:31:25 PST 334187417 Praise : SUPER-SONIC shipping, always enjoy buying from this seller!!! Response by jadecoin - J-1825-02: 1825 Bust quarter, AG-3"
I also noticed that there were quite a few feedbacks left by Jadecoins to whomever their feedback was merged with. Then again, I also noticed that Kryptonitecomics purchased from whomever that was also. KC.. do you remember who you bought from on eBay on May 6, 1999?
When will Deb have his next auction? More importantly, will he finally have enough money saved to get that sex-change operation and finally be a real woman?
According to the properties of that page, it was created today. Clearly, it is a reaction to this thread. It is equally clear, after reading that drivel, that "Deb" and the author of that page are one and the same.
I was just reading through the auction and found that Deb (who is from Michigan) visited Missouri. I know "Missouri Loves Company" but isn't it strange that Jade Coin is also located in Missouri and Michigan?
Is anyone continuing the investigation? This is getting exciting!
CLICK HEREthat's what i said, the website has changed.
gee it sounds like someone finally figured it out: GO to that show and confront them 1st hand!!! i'm gonna be there to wathc it all go down.
because the members of this forum have irrefutable PROOF, hardcode EVIDENCE and an insurmountable collection of UNDENIABLE EVENTS that jade coin is really the following:
a couple of no-good sleaze bags who obviously rip off old widows by stealing their husbands coin estates at pennys on the dollar. then, based on a couple of flimsy facts, they concoct bizarre stories about vacations and make-believe son's and baking pies and longing for a dead spouse and moving to smaller apartments - things that just don't happen to real people. they polish up all the coins from the estate, keep the best ones for their website, artificially tone the rest, tack a couple of extra grades on, then sell them on ebay for inflated reserves and starting prices (and slam the buyer for excessive shipping to). in fact, these fellas are so damm bold (or stupid) that they go from show to show, pick up gouged bust dollars that can easily be traced, send them off to a coin conservator to have the scratches removed and artificial tone added, then use the bogus old lady to rip the public by implying in the ad that the husband collected the coin from beyond the grave.
finally, they set up a bogus website with even more misleading information about how awful slabs are, and offer more of the artificialy toned coins, again at inflated prices. THEN, even knowing that the awesome detecetives on this forum got them figured out, these dudes are stupid enough to make drastic and obcious changes to their website and invite the whole world to visit them in person. of course the contact information is also bogus because i am SO SURE that SOMEBODY on this forum has actually contacted them and busted their chops. and finally, the stake through the heart, the final nail in the coffin, the CREME DE LA CREME, these bozo's don;t bother with bogus alias's and put their full names (or someone's full naems) on the website for everone to see, acting as if the have nothing to hide.
wow. could someone please remind me WHO'S making up stories???
Well guys, I have been loving this thread I have to admit, I'm NOT Deb!! But I did E-Mail her/him/it concerning the smelly proof sets she/he/it had. She offered them to me at about $7 a set, I countered with $6. She/He/It sent me an E-Mail back saying they were going to sell them to a dealer in Chicago this weekend for just under $7 a set. If anyone can come up with the address and the times for the Countryside show on Sunday, I might just have to take a ride over there (about 30 minutes) and look for smelly proof sets (shouldn't be too hard to find, a box of 165 proof sets should be really smelly!!!)
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!
Well That's Funny... Jade Coin will be there as well! I wonder if Deb will be selling all those proof sets to Jade Coin?
I guess what I really don't understand is why Deb is getting rid of this collection that has been handed down from each generation? Why is it that Clifford is not on the receiving end of the coins? I thought for sure these coins would go to Clifford so he could care for them and continue the collection on for the next generation.
I'm probably going a little overboard but I have to admit This Is Scary! in which Jade Coin says "Dennis suggested that maybe if he wore a grey wig and put on some grandma bifocal glasses..."
I'm in with Coindaughter... I've been waiting for an update on this one! Better yet, I read on the website that "they" had a membership to the "Population Report" or something of that nature... and if they read the messages, perhaps they should pull up a chair and give us their side of the story.
I went to the Countryside IL coin show Sun, I could not find Jade Coin there. I did get an E-Mail from Deb asking if I just wanted to but the 68-71 proof sets. Sent back an offer and have not heard anything. I really want to see the smelly proof sets (can't be any worse than the Cent I posted in another thread). I love it, the Dead Hearold Soap Opera!!! "As the crappy coin turns"...
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!
obviously, THEY DON'T EXIST!!! its a bogus corporation, like someone said a "shell company". did anyone else check em out? c'mon, the truth now, no matter how much it hurts!!!
I just got an E-mail from Deb, I had offered $8 each for the 8 smelly proof sets (68-71). I guess a dealer friend in Detroit told her she could get more money for them if they sell them on E-Bay. Well I tried, you know I'm a sucker for those proof sets, and $8 each isn't a bad price. Oh well, by the time they get done with the listing fees and sellers fees that $8 a set might not be such a bad deal after all...
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!
bogus bogus bogus!!! it's all a scam!!! there ain't no smelly proof sets, there ain't no "jade co", there ain't no harold, and there aint no deb/debe2002!!! heck, i think there ain't even a michigan!!! can someone invent a whole bogus state?
So that wiley ol' Deb made up the Jade Coin Co., Jerry Garcia (or whatever his name was), the states of Michigan and Missouri, etc.?
I wonder if Harold knew he/she was like this before he married him/her. Is this like "The Crying Game"? If Deb is really a man, how did he give birth to Clifford?
Is Harold really Deb's secret transvestite lover and is Clifford really their missing twin baby (or the big red dog) that was swapped at the hospital? Is Harolds estate really a cover for Deb2002's secret cocaine habit? Could Jade coins really be a front for Serenity Lane and be housing an addict like Deb2002 to protect her privacy? Was there really an attempt on Harolds life since it was discovered that Deb's illegitimate child was really Cliffords? YUCK!!! Did Deb have Harold murdered and was the basement really a burial ground for her estranged husband? Do voices really call to Harold from the unknow urging him to buy more counterfiet coins from other loved ones who have passed on? Was Harold really a confederate soldier who died a coin collector and is now haunting Deb and her new boyfriend Clifford?
Tune in next week and find out if Deb really has a penis or if he/she has had one all this time and has just now discovered it!!
<<Usually, I get a couple of questions about whether I participate in something called the "palpay program", which I do not. And because I am not a Professional, I cannot accept credit cards either. >>
What they are doing really sucks, but check the feedbacks, NO NEGS!. They must be doing something right. I don't like the idea of making up a story to sell the coin, but if no one has gotten burned yet (no one who's admitted it anyway), it still makes for something to read while you're in the bathroom....
<< <i>It is my intention to be done listing these coins on ebay by the time my birthday gets here, and it looks like I will be able to meet that goal. >>
More likely dumping the last of the inventory and heading for the hills, since the cat is out of the bag on this scam.
i dont get the "time difference" theiory. looks like 5 hours for 20 listings, ave. 4/hr, not all that proficient. also, that "Professional" comment has consistently showed up in all her auctions like that.
There is less then six mins between her first two listings. The 3rd took a little over fourteen mins. Nine for the next. Ten. Seven. Nine. The longest it took was 26 mins to set up the "misc cheap coins". Granted the story doesn't change but the title, text regarding the coin(s) must be typed, pix downloaded and the price changed. Plus you always proof read. I haven't noticed any editing on her listings. For an old lady, she's pretty darn good. Granted she (or he) has had lots of practice, she is supposed to be 65 years old. It just seemed to me she has become very proficient at the computer.
The 26 min auction probably took longer so she could feed the squirrels or bake a pie.
She started at 7:52 am and finished at 11:38. 3 hours and 46min. 226 minutes divided by 21 listings=less then 11 mins each. Take out the 26 min break to visit with Frank and you're down to 10 minutes each.
Maybe it's just me but (s)he's just a little too good.
obviously everything is typed and pic'd before hand. gotta disagree on this one, i just don't see 11 mins or even 6 mins as being all that fast, if all you gotta do is cut-n-paste . i looked at listings by some of the other "proficient" ebayers, and some are quite a bit faster. you know for sure that the jade dudes would have thought the timing thing out already, so it still could be faked anyway.
also, regarding the NO NEGS, not only are there zero, but the feedback seems incredibly positive doesnt it. they seem to appear in bunches too, with single bidders leaving a dozen at a time. in fact, i dont think i have ever seen more blatant postiive feedback. 1 explanation is that it is mostly shill bidding and bogus accounts, but that seems stupid since her stuff went for excelltn prices even if you were the underbidder. not only that, but at least 5 of the recent bidders (last 3 months or so) are heavy-duty national dealers, and one is a co-owner of one of the big certification services (NOT acg!). (don't ask me how i know, just trust me on this).
to the comment by russ, the story of the # of boxes has remained pretty damm consistent. if these dudes are running scared, they are the coolest bunch of crooks i've ever seen. i don't see any desperate dumping of crap at the last second going on here.
finally, i don't know about you, but this last round of gibberish really does look like old-time estate stuff. regardless of the source, i think it is one he11uva collection, and i dont even like canadian coins or shiny new quartgers.
Have you guys forgotten that when this thread started, we proved that a coin had been purchased by s/he-them, DOCTORED, and resold for a higher amount to an unsuspecting person???? The description omitted material facts which amount to fraud and misrepresentation. This is beyond merely the "Caveat Emptor" theory. Material omissions are affirmative actions.
Why the softness all of a sudden? Gp ahead and buy tooled and doctored coins if you want to. The uninformed buy crap all day long on EBay.
no, your right, and that is the one knife in the back that can't be smoke & mirrored away. or can it? new prediction: deb WILL get blasted w/ neg feedback this time around. you know for sure that the revelation has pi55ed off some of her customers who are also on this forum. i say ther's gonna be some payback.
dude, that was the highest EBAY bid. the final bid amount was actually $2990 plus juice, or $3,450 on the heritage site. i've never seen a single coin from "deb" go above a few hundred bucks. think your barking up the wrong tree on this 1.

She mentioned "ozarks" in the second paragraph "Ozarks" and Jade mentions it too: Ozarks-First Paragraph

Howz About Dat?

I think I found the EBay user ID that "Deb" uses to buy some of the crap s/he repairs and resells:
debe2002
If you click the link to the first auction where debe2002 bought a coin from someone allegedly in Denmark?!?! (as in something is rotten in . . .)
STRANGE auction
Let me get this straight, there is someone in Denmark with a "rotten" 1974 half cent that needs to be conserved???
Does this "sale" seem suspect to anyone???? Is there any end to this spiderweb of scam???? How many ID's are these two guys linked to??
Anyone else see a coinckidink here? It is kind of a challenge to try to find the bottom of this . . .
But wait! There's more!
debe2002 has feedback from jadecoin, who is NARU. Jadecoin's final feedback was from debe2002 herself!
