Ooops, sorry about that. I got confused because I posted my draped large cent yesterday, or at least I thought I did
Now I’m wondering if I somehow warped time
Hey, @Mr_Spud - since you fell into a time warp, you might as well take advantage of it. How ‘bout you go back to 1790s Philadelphia and pick us up a bag of Red UNCs, would ya please? 😂

OK, @Mr_Spud - now it’s time for the Classic Head cent (1808-1814).
I currently lack a decent example of this type. In fact, the nicest problem-free example I’ve previously owned was a PCGS F12, for which I no longer have pictures.
So again I’ll fall back on my holey type set on the corkboard, where this 1814 is pinned.

For the Draped Bust large cents, I'll show the first of it's kind, a 1796. This one is an S-102.
This is my highest graded piece. This 1802 is an MS-63, Brown, CAC. It's an S-232 which is super common variety.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. For the Classic Cents, I can offer this one. It's the best one in my date set. This is the auctioneer's photos, and it is an accuate view. The grade is NGC AU-58. I paid a premium price for this.

It’s now the next day. Here’s my Braided Hair Large Cent. This design should generate more replies from us than yesterday.
Thank you for starting us off with a really nice one. You got the right type of coin (and WOW!), but you named it wrong.
That is a Coronet Head large cent (1816-1839), not the Braided Hair large cent (that will be our next type- tomorrow.)
The first Coronet Head I will share is from my holey corkboard collection. It's actually pretty nice, for a holed coin.
The second I will share is from my present primary collection.
The last one I will share was the nicest of the type I have owned. It was a PCGS MS62 BN. I thought it was not only nice for a 62, but also had a lot of remaining red for a BN-designated coin. Love the circular die crack connecting the stars. I suspect this piece came from the Randall Hoard, which was found in a keg underneath a railroad platform in Georgia in 1869.
I miss this one. Sold it during a financial pinch.

If you want another one, the 1818 large cent is a common, Randal Hoard date. It’s easy to find another one.

The 1822 is a much scarcer, and, in some ways, more interesting.

You're a bit too late to post a Classic Head half cent- that type was featured a few days ago. We're up in the large cents now. Specifically the Coronet Head large cent.

Interesting.
Some years ago, I had difficulty locating an 1830 when I wanted one. Thinking it may be a sleeper date, I decided to put them away when I came across any. Of course, in short order, I was able to acquire 5-6 more in XF-AU, so I figured it was a fool’s errand, and stopped.

Welcome to Tuesday, everyone. This means it is time for our next type, the Braided Hair large cent (1839-1857). This will be our final large cent type and then we'll move on to the small cents tomorrow.
I do not currently have a decent example of this type in my primary collection, so here is the one from my "holey" collection.
Next are two from my giveaway inventory.
Finally we have the best of the type I have owned in the past. This one was PCGS MS63 BN, but it had a lot of red for a BN-designated coin.
