I bought the 2023 reverse proofs and instantly disliked them when in-hand. Never again. I also prefer a frosty strike vs proof.

Regular proofs always worked for me
I couldn't agree with you more !
I'm with you as well my friend !
I like them. I would buy annual sets if they were made and available.

I’m a fan of reverse proofs, especially on coins with big fields. Here is my RP PR70 AI dollar:

I actually like the enhanced uncirculated finishes better, although admittedly I’m unsure what the difference is from a reverse proof. I’m guessing the devices are not as heavily polished which gives them a more muted effect, and the rims are unpolished. Here’s my SP69 Sac:

I prefer regular proofs but I do think they're quite nice. I wish they'd issue more Enhanced UNC coins though. The 2017 set was great
only in cases where the shine doesn't obliterate the details. that sac is ok
@P0CKETCHANGE - the enhanced UNCs have areas in the devices that aren't fully polished.
See a comparison below:

2017 S Enchanted Unc:

Alex, I haven’t come across any “enchanted” UNCs 😉, but I will note that the Mohawk example I shared and the 2017 pictured above seem to have different finishes on the devices, whereby there is some contrast on the Mohawk coin.
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
Doh! Thanks!
I also noted the slight difference in the finish between the Mohawk and the 2017 I noticed. The mint appears to have called them both enhanced unc, but the Mohawk does have much more mirror. Regardless, the polished areas are more of a wirebrush, and there are some frosted areas in the devices.
Here's a 2014 comparison too:

I like them the same as regular proofs..... which is not at all.
Collecting things that are "made for collectors" turns me off a bit. I appreciate the beauty, and the coiner's art, but that's about it. RPs are just computer made gadgets.

I don’t care for reverse Proof coins at all. I think that they are unattractive. The only one in my collection, which I can remember, is a Roosevelt Dime which is in a Dr. Benjamin Spook commemorative coin set.
I bought the 2018 silver proof set. Last thing I bought from the mint. They are ok, but nothing to get excited about.
Call me old school. I do not care for reverse proofs at all and do not own any.

@PocketChange
Do not know anything about them. A quick search and this pcgs article came up. If correct, then this paragraph kind of briefly sums it up.
"But what exactly is an enhanced uncirculated coin? Essentially, it is one in which laser-engraving techniques are employed to create frosted, polished, and unpolished fields and devices that provide sharper contrasts between various elements of the design details. Each type of enhanced uncirculated coin has its own characteristics that exemplify this relatively new die-creation process."

I think of Reverse Proofs like I think of Pineapple Pizza. Some people like it. I'm not crazy about it, but I get why some people are. But if I'm ordering, it's not what I'm getting
lol….I love Hawaiian pizza….but understand that some think it’s a bit crazy. Now raw oysters are another thing….I mean they look downright nasty. The person who tried/discovered them must have cracked one open, took a look at it and thought, ‘wow! This looks like snot on the half shell, bet it tastes great!”…and slurped it on up. 🤪😂 But I like reverse proofs as long as the fields don’t have the ‘missing pixels’ so to speak on them. Those missing ‘pixels’ stand out like a scratch on a mirrored proof.
